Which 2TS restaurant for steak?

We will be on DDP and hope to have some good steak in the Magic Kingdom area (so, unfortunately our all-time favourite Yachtsman Steakhouse is out)

NARCOOSSEE'S, Citricos, or Artist Point...??? Any comments?

In the MK area? Narcoossees. But I'd take the bus and go to Yachtsman.

Personally - I would still go to the Yachtsman Steakhouse - since they still hand cut their steaks fresh daily.

Getting there at the right time and watching them cut the filets in that litte room is a dream come true.

I had a Filet at the California Grill that I cut with a butter knife... so tender, perfectly cooked, wonderful piece of meat, and the veiw from the restaurant can't be beat!

Since Yachtsman is out for you, I'd go with Artist Point instead. Lovely room, wonderful menu, interesting wine list and great service, all only a boat ride from the MK.

You can get a good steak at any of the signature restaurants, if I had to pick I would go with the strip at Flying Fish or the filet at Jiko's or the buffalo at Artist Point (Yachtman's always nice of course).

the steak at Flying Fish was probably the best one I have ever eaten in my life....not just disney. It was that good. It wasn't even my meal....it was my hubby's.

Thanks! I really love to visit Yatchman again but it will be too much hassle for us without a car. Here is our situation ~ on DDP (staying at GF) with 2 kids and DH and the in-laws. We have booked all character meals and wanted to enjoy the remaining 2TS on good steaks.

DH loved Artist Point (Buffalo steak) but may want to try something new this year.

Roedisney, how would you compare the steak at Citrico and Narcoossee's?

I gotta agree...this beat the one we ate at Jiko's hands down!

Narcoossee's and Jiko have the best steaks, IMHO.

Yachtsman Steakhouse was our favorite steak place.

And since you are don't want to take a bus there, then Jiko will be out of the picture for you too. Jiko being in the Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Our favorite steak in the MK area was California Grills Filet.
