Wheww I have been doing so much disney swapping!!

In the last couple of days I have made 6 mickey head journal boxes, 6 epcot paper peicings, 12 animal kingdom nuggets and 72 individual photo corners for animal kingdom pics!

And it is so hot here-35 today and I have no AC-think I should hang out in the car a while-at least it has AC!!

I still need to make 12 matted/embellished frames of a epcot theme and 6 mgm paper peicings!!

I have just been a scrapping and swapping roll lately-managed to finish a couple of layouts on the weekend.

I really wish I had a scanner or digital camera so I could share with you guys!

When the disney swap we are doing is all done would someone be able to scan or take pics and upload them to share with everyone? I think that would be nice!

And I wondered why you hadn't tried the serendipity squares as yet.
Boy, you have been busy. You will have a wonderful collection when all if finished. I hope you get some time to put a few pages together soon.

Hi Vanessa,

I was wondering where you are doing all of the Disney trading. I found some on 2Peas, but not anything as interesting as you are working on.

Thanks, Pam

I belong to 4 yahoo groups, 1 of which is based in the USA and 3 which are for Canadians. They are really great groups with very talented and friendly ladies! I have been able to meet 3 ladies right in my city thanks to the groups! To find a group you may interested in (and there are 100's) go to yahoo.com and then click on yahoo groups. You can then do a search on "scrapbooking" and it will bring up the groups, you can go thru them and find some to your liking! There are groups for moms, for mom's of boys, for canadians, for swapping ect-so you can find a group that suits you! The groups are all run by the moderator of the group. Some groups are open-meaning you can just join in and others you have to email them and ask to be added-I prefer these ones as the group size is usually limited to a number of people and you really get to know who the others are, you also have the security of not having just anyone on the net viewing your posts-you have to be registered to view and to post!! Check it out!!
Regarding swapping-get to know the group that you are going to be swapping with as I have heard of some hostess's being flakers aka they get all the stuff sent into them and then no one hears from them again-usually only happens once and no one will swap with them again but it pays to just check out a group for a while. On the flip side I have also had people hesitant to join one of my swaps until they I establish myself on list and people get a sense of who I am!! I usually read through posts and will try and join a few swaps where the hostess has been at it a while then people know my word is good once I do my part!! It is so much fun to do the swaps!!

Wow! That's alot of work to get into all those swaps. I'm impressed!! We're certainly glad you've hosted them here on the dis. Thanks!

WOW! You are one busy women! I don't think I could handle much more! LOL! I am so behind with my books and then I keep seeing things I want to try....so I think I need to limit my exposure to scrappers! :D the less I see the less I want....I don't think it is working but that is my plan!

I'm amazed at how much you have gotten done! I think though that if I had a challenge or swap that I would get in there and scrap instead of looking longingly as I pass the room!

What are nuggets?

Dana
