After some tense moments, we finally got the accomodations ( Bryan's Spanish Cove, through skyauction), flights (Transmeridian) and rental car (Alamo) all booked for our trip with friends in Oct. Representatives at both Transmeridian and skyauction customer service were both very helpful, and responded to my emails very quickly. Now I just have to buy tickets for WDW and Universal, and book my airport hotel in Syracuse. Yahoo!

Faye - congrats on getting your trip planning underway! I just wanted to throw in two cents, since I live in Syracuse and I noticed you needed to book a hotel in Syr. I'd recommend the newer Candlewood Suites over the airport hotel. It's located right where the airport access road hits South Bay Road. It'll take about three minutes to drive to the terminal from the hotel. Just a thought.
We're also flying TMA (this weekend in fact) and the service is great. You'll also love the convenience of the Sanford airport! Just keep in mind that it is another hour's drive or so from Sanford airport to WDW.

Great choice on accommodations! I stayed at BSC about 8 years ago and loved the location! It is across the road from Vistana Resort and literally 4 minutes to DTD. The unit was basic but clean and spacy and the pool was the warmest I have ever swam in! The kids enjoyed fishing off the pier. Just don't swim in Lake Bryan ~ we saw gators!

Snowy76, thanks for the recommendation for Candlewood Suites, we stayed at the BW Airport Inn last time, and it was o.k, but I could hear the guy next door snoring all night! We didn't find the drive from Sanford bad at all ( other than getting lost, but that's because my husband refused to ask for directions!).
Talicskai, I am so glad you think we made a good choice. We stayed at CPGV last time, and it wasn't available for our dates. There aren't many reviews of BSC, so we had a hard time deciding. ( All of the reviews we found were good, so that helped!)
