Whew! Just returned!

Had a great time! We covered A LOT! Even did the Fantasmic Buffet Friday night.
One day at US. We stayed at Anaheim Desert Inn.

What time did you get in line for tickets to the Fantasmic Dessert Buffet?

DH arrived at the area just 15 minutes before selling time. (8:45) The line wasn't too bad. However, he almost didn't get them.
Thursday night DH found out where to be in line and when. There was no EE on Friday and the ticket office/Guest Services opened an hour before the DL park opening. (The Guest Services selling them was only outside of DCA.)
While I finished getting ready, DH walked over. The CM had just finished taking names when he arrived. So he thought he was out of luck.
But he did get two seats for the 10:30 viewing. (Back row, but still good seats.)
DH was happy. We had to stand (the misery ) for the first show. And we saw it from the side. You do miss some from side viewing.
Then we went over to the castle and watched the fireworks over the castle.
Then back to the Gallery for our Fantasmic seating.
So the wait would just depend on if you really need the first showing, front row seats, etc.

OK, talk slow. I'm new at DL research.

There was no EE Friday where? I thought DL had EE Friday, but DCA never had EE. Do they start selling them when DL or DCA opens?? Or did you say an hour before? (Did the parks open at 10 AM? ) (Am I making sense??)

Why did you stand for the first show? How come you weren't doing something else during that show if you had tickets for the 2nd show's Dessert Buffet?

Oh, how I hate learning all this new stuff. We leave in 3 weeks and two days.

Never EE (early entry) for DCA. There was no EE on Friday for DL. (DH was told no EE's for Fridays -- period. The CM even looked at him strange that he thought Friday was EE.) Luckily, we used our one EE day on Tuesday, our first day.
Disney CM's started selling the Fantasmic buffet tickets outside of DCA (left side, at Guest Services by the restrooms) an hour before DL opens. Sounds confusing, I know. I'm sure Disney will change that again.
DL opened at 9:00 (regular time -- not EE time). DCA opened an hour later than DL every day we were there.
DH LOVES Fantasmic and fireworks. So we always watch all available shows.

DL has not had EE the last few Friday's because Thursday night is Grad nights.
HS Grads have the park until 6am, so DL could not turn around that quickly to get the park open for early entry.

Friday's is generally a EE day. (Wed/Sun are not)
