Whew.... it's over!

Some of you may know of the custody battle going on in our home. My DFriend of many years husband and his children have been living with us since last May. She has been in and out of their lifes since and doing some pretty bad things, bad choices, etc. Now is homeless (well lives in a hotel), no car, a wreck, etc. Today was the final hearing for custody and we won! She didn't even show, after threats, etc she stayed away, although I got many frantic calls from her this morning in a panic over what she had done.
Now the next step was to tell her to get her life together and see what happens from there.
There must be a god because today went so smoothly and we were so worried. Exactly what we all prayed for.
Keep the girls in your prayers tonight, although 3 and 4yrs old this has already affected. We can only hope she smartens up and puts the girls above other things once again>

I'm glad everything worked out so well!! Although they always claim that they are doing what is best for the children, it is usually the children who end up with the raw end of the deal!! So good to hear that it didn't happen in this case!!

Wow, what a sad situation, but I'm glad things worked out. I will pray for the children, their dad, and for their mom that she can get her life together.

And yes, there is a God and He does hear our prayers
