What the heck. . .where are the 2011 rates?? I thought it would be July or August. I know it is still August, but I simply can't wait any longer :sad2: I can't move ahead with planning until I have those stinkin rates:headache: I'm having pre-trip planning withdrawal

Yup, me too. Still waiting....

rates for the hotels? You need to call. They will give them to you over the phone. President's Day weekend rates at HRH in the mid to high $300s right now.

Nope, not for the end of June or beyond. Still not available.

I didn't book this past July till Sept last year.

I thought I was the only one having trouble. I am ready to book the sweet 16 mother daughter trip for my DD and her BFF (and mom) for a three night visit in March. I am getting anxious!

If I call them, will they be able to give me AP rates for April yet??? I hate having to call..would so much rather do it online.

If you phone they will give you rates and book them for you, i know some have reservations for next summer, and 1 or 2 have bookings made for next OCtober.
They will not have any AP rates yet for next year , much to early yet.

I just called and booked for February. Probably don't want to publish because they are scary high. (Hoping to get a lower rate later)

The rates are going to be up very soon, was told in a couple of days, this info comes from my friend at the HRH. We have a booking ref, but no rate yet.

I know that you can book if you call. . .but the rates are rack and way too high. I also know that you can go ahead and book now, then change as the rates go down. Seriously though, every time you change your rate they refund your one night deposit and charge you again. I just dislike keeping track of all the refunds and new charges. I'm certainly not opposed to changing the rate if a better one shows up, however, I guess I would prefer to see what the discount rates are and if those supersaver rates are going to be available again.

Guess I'll keep watching every day or two so I don't miss the AAA or whatever comes out. I'm certain there will be posts when 2011 rates are available.

They usually just keep the booking , and your original deposit, the extra goes on the room account.
If they insist on refunding the original deposit, i just say it does not matter, and phone back to get a different agent, as the deposit does not need to be refunded to lower the rate.

That's what we do, unless the currency exchange difference is in our favour.

That's good information to have because when we last went, I found lower rates after originally booking at rack, like 3 different times. We ended up with a great rate so I was very happy, but the did refund the deposit and recharge each time I changed the rate. It became a mess to keep straight. . .I think I needed a spreadsheet

BTW. . .just checked for HRH rates for March 2011 and nothing yet.

Yes they are. . . and are they ever high! Think I'll wait a while yet to see what offers become available.

As part of our August 2011 holiday in Orlando, we will be spending 7 nights at RPR in middle of the month. The online price is $289 plus tax (£192) which is very expensive and understand may come down as/when specials become available - HOWEVER for the same period Complete Orlando are offering £142 per night hence booked with them. Perhaps give them a call for your dates.

Holy cow! $424 per night at PBH in mid-April! I realize that is rack rate, but that seems much higher than past years. I'm doubting that discounted rates (AAA, etc) will get it down to even close to what we paid the last few years ($259). Man, I miss the Loews First days when I could get a Portofino suite for around $200-250/night. Now, it's Garden View for possibly over $350! I may have to stay offsite if that happens.

We had Bay view Portofino Suite for $164 this week which is lower than I've ever gotten before, so there is hope!

Yep...and in July, we had it for $179/night on AP rate.
