But seriously folks, I really enjoyed the salmon at Artist Point last year. I was also pleasantly surprised by the quality and price of the salmon at Tusker House in AK.
DH used to love the Cedar Plank Salmon at Le Cellier! But, I don't think it's on the menu anymore. Now they have a Salmon served with maple butter that sounds good too!
Thanks for that info, other than pizza, burgers and dogs, the only other food my DS 8 asks for is Salmon....so if I go for wings (other post), then I may have to make it up to him.
I also vote for the cedar plank salmon at Artist Point. The plank is hand made by our dear friend and head carpenter at WL, Paul. He is retiring this year after 10 years of service as head mechanic and carpenter for WL, Fort Wilderness and The Villas at WL.
I had salmon at the California Grill about 15 months ago. It was pretty close to perfect, and not that expensive -- about $24. I've not had it at Artist Point or Flying Fish yet so can't compare, but it would be no surprise if they buy from the same supplier.
I also would pick Artist Point. Ate here in December. We were a group of 6 adults, I had the salmon and loved it. One person ordered the pork chop also yummy. The rest of the group ordered steak OK.
Everyone thought our waitress was stuffy. We left a huge tip ($70) and she never came back to the table to say Thanks. Almost like it was expected.
Of all the restaurants this was the only bad experience. Not the food just the atmosphere which was too bad because I love this restaurant.
