WE are headed down "Home" in April and were thinking of requesting a specific area since we have heard that some areas were nosier than others. Is there a "good" area that anyone would suggest? Is the pool area better than those with a BW view?

We just stayed for 2 weeks on the 2nd floor with a Luna Park view. No regrets.

We just returned and had a 1 bdr, BW view, 5041 to be exact. It was on the 5th floor right over the main gift store ( I'm going blank on the name). It was absolutely quiet when the patio doors were closed. We also loved the view. Our only complaint were the bird droppings on the patio.

Best view is by far boardwalk view. You hear little at night when patio doors are closed. Quietest view (which is still a good view) is the "quiet pool" view.

We stayed in a studio room # 4031. Overlooked boardwalk. It was fantastic. Breakfast out on the balcony as the sun came up. Watched all the lights go out and the music come on. Overlooked all the night time activity and fireworks. Was memorable.

Good luck

Studio room 5053 had an awesome view of the Boardwalk and Epcot fireworks at night. Very quiet except for the crows in the morning.

Leanne, we had the same room, 5053, and I agree with your comments.

It was a bit noisy at times with the birds. In fact, my DW was sitting on the balcony reading and looked up to see about a dozen of them perched on the ledge above......watching her.

It reminded her of a movie.

The BEST room is the one you're staying in whenever you're there!!!

Which in our case is 6 days, 3 hours and 35 minutes from now!

:D

ceejay, We were in room 3041, 2 floors below you. We were there from 11/36 - 11/30. The view was great. This was our first stay at BWV and now I think I am spoiled with this room. I dont think that I would be happy with a standard view.

We were in a 1 bdrm (3104) for a week in Jan'01 and loved it! Corner room, at end of hall way so no one walking/running/talking in halls past room.

One side faced the Pool Slide (it was low-60's so not too many brave souls) and the other the beautiful canal and MGM Studios...
