We have been to Orlando 3 times now, but always on I drive.

This next time we want to hire a villa.

There are so many to choose from in some many locations, which are the best locations?

We want to be close to Disney but also close to an area where there is some nightlife for a family.

Could anyone please give us some tips?

US192 is a good start. Look in your local newsagent window for good deals.
The best and cheapest deals normally come from private owners

Definitely West 192, resorts like Windsor Palms, Emerald Island, Rolling Hills, Formossa Gardens, all are near to Disney and conveniant for everywhere else. IMHO I would not go down US27 they are just to far away and to much driving.

Try www.daystarvillas.com

I agree with Martina, you are best just off the US192.

We rent a villa each year now but try and stay somewhere different each year.
Rolling Hills, Formosa Gardens, Windsor Palms and Indian Creek are all ideally located, IC is our preferred choice as the others can be more expensive and a lot of the homes on RH/FG are too big, some being 6/7 bedrooms.

We stayed at IC in March, however, on our August holiday we are staying on Poinciana Boulevard which is another poplular area.
Cumbrian Lakes I would recommend.
Try and get one with the pool South facing as they get the sun all day.

You have to be careful when renting a villa as there are so many out there, try and find one that is relatively new - the homes get so much stick from the weather (and guests) that they need regular maintanence.
Our first booking was in a 10 year old home and to be honest it was a nightmare, the home had been totally neglected and we had to change after a week....since then I have been much more careful.

This website is great as you can see 360 degree views of all the rooms and pool area.

Emerald Island, Formosa Gardens and Rolling Hills are all excellent places to rent a villa, i suppose as its Florida nearly every complex is brilliant but these are the 3 we have used before.
