Has anyone ever heard of the AAA Lounge in MK?
I thought i read somewhere in the park there was a "rest area" for AAA members.....

As you enter the MK area at the train station look to your right. There is a building there that houses the Tony's Town Square Restaurant, a large pin trading shop/camera shop and a AAA office. I neverknew it to be strictly for AAA members, maybe there is an area in the rear of that or something. It's a large room, I guess you could call it a lounge, it's air conditioned so you could get out of the heat. HTH

We were last at WDW in January 2003, and there was an AAA lounge in Tomorrowland. There is a sort of gate just to the right of the Carousel of Progress - once you pass through the gate, a path leads around behind, and there an AAA lounge. If you booked your trip through AAA, you get voucher for a free soda there. They also have rest rooms, an area to sit and relax, lots of AAA travel info, TV's showing Disney videos, etc. I think you have to have booked through AAA to use this lounge, not just be an AAA member. Perhaps others have more knowledge than I, but that's how it was when we were last there.

I just got my voucher from AAA. It is for a one time trip only for a rest and a free soda. It also said that it can get quite crowded and you may not be able to use the lounge if it is at capacity. I thought it used to be available whenever if you booked through AAA, but the voucher clearly said 1 time only.

It is for one visit, and the voucher covers all the people booked in the package that are there when you use the voucher

If one or more of the people booked through the package are not with you when you use the voucher, they lose out. They cannot get into the lounge.

jaysmom4285 is correct on the AAA lounge location. You have to really be looking for that gate or you might not even notice it; however, I 'think' it has a AAA logo on the gate or a small sign that says the lounge is there.

The lounge is a quiet (cool spot in hot weather) place to rest for a bit & get away from crowds. Be sure to take your voucher. They ask for it as soon as you walk in the door. It is good for one visit only which is too bad because it's a good place to take a break.
