Where's Steph?

Anyone heard from Stepharoonie? Did she make out okay with the Hurricanes? I haven't seen her posting lately.

From what I understand, she got a lot of flack for posting about her custody situation and decided to take a break. Please correct me if I am wrong!

Edited to add: My sister went through was she is currently going through with custody and I really felt for her tough situation.

Yes, I think the last time we heard from her she was okay, her and Maddie were safe and she mentioned taking a break.

I was thinking about her today and was actually going to post later and ask if anyone had heard from her.

Steph - if you are lurking, know that there are a lot of us here who do care about you and wishing you only the best.

Where did she post that she was banned? Another board? I noticed her tag was well... bitter, but I didn't know what that was about and she was posting along with it for a couple of days. It looked like her feelings were hurt, but nothing ban worthy I didn't think.

me too, although I certainly never saw her post anything ban-worthy. I believe she has been posting at The Lodge, but I don't have their current address.

Boy--I haven't been on the DIS in a couple of months and I come back and find out Stepharoonie might have been banned?!? Then I read a post about someone else (Cati--I believe) that was leaving because of rude/mean posts --- sigh---I was really hoping the debate board would be back--and alot of that bitterness and arguing could work its way back over there. That's kind of why I took a break for ahwile. I'm sad to see it's still not back.

Steph--It was a real honor to get to have you as my first "Live DIS sighting" -- if you are reading this--know you are missed!

I never knew her, but hope she comes back... and hope she wasn't banned geesh.... that is harsh punishment to be banned from the DIS!

As far as I know Steph is not banned, she has just chosen to stay away for a while. Licking her wounds, if you will. And, considering what was done to her, I can't say I blame her one bit. Yes, her thread went beyond what she originally intended. But she was venting, and who amongst us has not done that? Well, some enterprising "kind soul" decided to forward the thread to her employers. Nice eh?

I have been hesitating about posting this for days now. But this is the second thread wondering where Steph is. If I get banned for "telling" so be it.

Oh my goodness! Why would someone do that? I have noticed a definete trend towards meanness lately, but honestly, that is going too far. If she is lurking, I hope she knows she is loved and missed.
