Where's my ~ ???

OK.. I've searched & searched the keyboard of my Toshiba Laptop & cannot find the ~ symbol .... And before you ask, I had to cut & paste the ~ from the Great Wolf Lodge thread title!!!

Am I losing it (my mind & my ~) or is it missing from my keyboard?! Anyone?!

My ~ is located to the left of my #1 key.
