Wheres my refund question

It showed in my ING account yesterday, but didn't the day before. I also got my state deposited on 2/14. It might just be that it was submitted Fri 2/13 and showed up later on? Who knows, they didn't show as pending at all, they're available for withdrawal if I wanted too.

I am in the same boat, the IRS site STILL says 17th which is today. Nope. I was expecting it Fri 13th because I've always gotten it on a Friday. I am beginning to worry..H&R Block did our taxes, same as the last few years and I've never had a problem.
I would like to a least know what the delay is, if any. It'd be nice if they would post something on their website.

I just called my bank (regions) and asked if it was pending or scheduled to be..he said no. He told me IRS only deposits on Fridays..I said thats what I thought, but that it had been reported that some were getting their refund deposited on all days of the week..that was news to him.

we had our taxes done on feb 7th and I waited till the 11th to check on it and it said that ours would be deposited on the 20th then on the 13th it said it would be deposited on the 16th and I knew our bank would be closed for the holiday but it was in our account this morning hee haw were going to Dollywood in June and now I paid our cabin in full this morning.

Did anyone's status change since Friday? Mine still says "We have your return and it is being processed..." It also says we "should" have our refund by February 24th. I'm waiting on the message that has a definite deposit date.

Our forms were accepted by the IRS on February 6, so we should be right on schedule. The only thing I'm thinking might hold us up is having to use Form 8863. We had to wait three months for our refund last year due to that form.

One of our friends filed his family's taxes a couple of days before I did, and he received their refund on the 13th.

Normally it's deposited on a Friday but the site has always shown a Tuesday following that Friday just incase your bank hasn't released the funds yet. Some people have gotten lucky with their banks releasing funds prior to the Friday direct deposit date. I don't think it has ever given a deposit date on the website. That is their standard saying...

OK mine went from should be deposited on the 17th.. to you have made a mistake entering your information. but when you call the automated line it still has me as being deposited on the 17th which will not happen. maybe we can sue the federal government

Mine says the exact same thing as yours. Went from being to deposited on the 17th to "you must have made a mistake".... Also called and got the same message--deposited on the 17th.

In the past, I've always been given a direct deposit date a few days before the deposit. Hopefully the status will change soon. I'm not in a hurry to get our refund, I'm just really impatient. I hate waiting!

Okay...Now when I enter my information, mine says the same thing. A few minutes ago, it had the "being processed" message. Maybe they're updating the system today due to the holiday?

I just called the H& R Block where I got my taxes done and talked to the owner (my mom works there and we are friends)..I told her that the page still says "you should recieve by Feb 17th..blah blah" and we haven't gotten it.
She said she thinks they are just behind because of all the recovery rebate stuff.

Hope she's right and we get it THIS friday!!

Mine still has the exact same message. It should be deposited today unless they find mistakes. I wonder if that means that they have found mistakes???

Oh well. Ours isn't very much. I just hope we don't end up oweing once they figure it out.

We used Turbo Tax, the same as every other year. We paid with a credit card, same as every other year. I am hoping that they are just behind.

My thing is now you cannot call the IRS and get a live person. You cannot even call your local office anymore. IRS is not taking phone calls anywhere

It was deposited on Presidents Day, really? Wow..I was hoping the reason for the delay was the three day weekend...my bank wasn't even open yesterday and neither was IRS I don't think...

They must have been open because the message that I got said mine was deposited on the 16th. Mine was initially supposed to be depoisted on the 20th. I used Tax Act.
