Wheres my refund question

Mine says that the 24th it should be in my account. so, I'm having hubby check his and if it's in his, then I should be getting my refund hopefully this week as well.

I have my account through H&R Block on the emerald card. So, I hope nothing else comes up. Last year, I had an offset which I knew nothing about and they took my whole refund!!! All $3011.00 of it. We desperately need this year's money for our vacation and other things. I called the IRS and nothing came up that I owed them anything. Plus, when I called and talked to a tax preparer at H&R Block, she told me that they would've sent me a notice/letter in the mail by now if I had owed them anything as well as any other company. So far, nada!!!

Keeping my fingers crossed!!

I always use TT & my date changed from the 13th to the 24th Not sure what is going on!

I don't even know where y'all are checking dates! LOL I just always check my bank account a week later and the money is deposited there. Same for my sister as well. Have you checked to see if it's there already regardless of what that date says?

If it's not there- maybe they are getting delayed now that more and more people are doing it? I always try to do it as quick as possible- but end up waiting till end of Jan or so to finally get DH's W-2. I usually have it all done in TT with DH's last paycheck of the year though -so when I get the W-2 I just have to check to make sure it's exactly right from his W-2 and then send it efile/direct deposit.

What explanation did the irs have for those delays? I know of one person tentavely scheduled for Mar 3 but she has a huge mess with her return and the irs pulled it for further review.

some people say IRS is backed up. other say it has to do with the stimilus package. No idea what is holding me up

Ours was supposed to be deposited today. The IRS site still says that, but no refund yet. I hope we didn't make a mistake. We used Turbo Tax, the same as always.

I am not in a huge hurry but still I would like my money! Our refund is not that large.

Did you have your Turbo Tax fees deducted from your refund? If so it may take a day or so for your refund to show in your account. We used Turbo Tax too but paid for our fees when the taxed were completed. Ours still shows the 24th. Hope it doesnt get bumped back another week!

I used H and R, and they said my return was accepted, but I'm still getting the message.

I have been getting this message since filing on the 5th! I called the tax guy who is "going to look into it" Thankfully I don't need it right now but before June would be nice!!

i just got my federal refund deposited today. According to H&R block it should have been last Friday, so mine was delayed 2 days.

State on the other hand is goign to be delayed. According to our newspaper the state of Kansas has suspended all income tax refunds cause the account is empty! It even went as far as to say that there is a possibility that state employees might not get their paychecks on Friday!

here's hoping to anyone who owes to make speedy payments so I can get my refund. or better yet if anyone owes they can just write me a personal check for a mutually agreed upon amount and we can call it good

Ours started out saying the 17th then last Tues or Wed it changed to the 24th. Lets all hope that we get it this Friday!!!

I am getting a little worried.....ours is for 12k and I have a feeling its being withheld because of the amount. We filed on Feb 1 and it was accepted on Feb 2nd so its been 2 weeks. We were supposed to get it on the 17th as well but we were changed to the 24th. It still says its being processed too.... I just don't get it..my SIL filed LAST Tuesday and she get hers today. Granted hers was for less but still...this sucks. My husband and I were BOTH laid off in Oct so as you can imagine, we NEED that money like yesterday.

I just don't understand why it hasn't even been processed yet??

I am in the same boat, the IRS site STILL says 17th which is today. Nope. I was expecting it Fri 13th because I've always gotten it on a Friday. I am beginning to worry..H&R Block did our taxes, same as the last few years and I've never had a problem.
I would like to a least know what the delay is, if any. It'd be nice if they would post something on their website.

It was deposited on Presidents Day, really? Wow..I was hoping the reason for the delay was the three day weekend...my bank wasn't even open yesterday and neither was IRS I don't think...
