Where's my refund only update once a week?

Can anyone confirm this? My return was accepted last Saturday and has been saying processing since then. There have been two times (once last night and once a couple nights ago) where they were saying they didn't have any information but then it updated to processing again. Is that a long time to process? This is the first time I've used turbotax and I just want to know if anyone else is experiencing the same thing? Does the WMR site only update at certain times to indicate DD dates? Thanks!!

I used H&R Taxcut and e-filed, I never got the Where's my Refund to work, but the refund came through yesterday. I filed on the night of the 17th.

Not sure whether the IRS site is working, but just assume 14 days for your refund.

Thanks for the info. The Where's My Refund site is frustrating! It changes from recognizing me to not recognizing me all the time.

I filed on the 20th through tax act. It said we would get our taxes back on Feb 5th, we got them on Thursday (28th).

I filed using turbotax last friday (22nd) about 1:00pm. When I received the email to let me know that my federal was accepted it gave me a date of Feb. 5th but when I checked the where's my refund site it told me Jan. 29th. My money was direct deposited on the 29th only 7 days after I filed. I've used TurboTax for the last 5 years and this was the quickest I ever received my refund. Usually it is about 14 days.

I guess we were on the lucky end and either received ours by mail a couple weeks ago or electronically could print them out. Who knows how long it will be on the IRS end though... Hope you get your things soon!
