I'm looking for a very cheap holiday somewhere warm for Jan/Feb. Ideally all inclusive as we'd want to spend the absolute minimum. Don't care where but need to pull it in for under £200 maximum. Any ideas where I could look that will let me do searches without requiring a destination?

Sophie ~ How long would you be looking to go for?

Tunisia is usually good, and cheap, for all inclusives :sunny:

Theoretically the weather should be okay in Jan/Feb but I went, in Feb, several years ago and we had quite a lot of rain :confused3

You might find something in Cyprus but not, necessarily, as cheap.

You can run a 'last minute' check with MyTravel that doesn't require a destination but you might have to wait until nearer the time.

:)

Is it actually possible to get an all-inclusive overseas holiday for under £200?!

I will have one too if it is :goodvibes

yeah me too! when you consider our all inclusive to WDW (without park tickets, just accom and food) will be around £1000!

anyway i dont know how much it cost but i guess if you go off season anywhere is cheaper than now....but we went to majorca with cosmos to a hotel called the Jupiter/Saturno...it was really nice and is still going strong as one of my friends recently stayed there and loved it. The pool is big, the food is good, the beach is close (well there's a shuttle bus) and Airtours also serve that resort (possibly Thompson do as well?)

I'm not sure you'd be able to get it for less than £200 but it's a beautiful place and there's stuff nearby so that you aren't stuck in the resort ALL the time

I can find all inclusive for 2 for a week on 11 jan from birmingham to fuengirola for total £540, tenerife from LGW on 12 jan total £638 and tunisia total £558 on 21 jan from manchester if thats any good? :confused3

Try teletext holidays ~ keep checking with them every day as things change on a daily basis - I have just found flights from Heathrow to Miami travelling on 24th July for 5 adults for £2,200!!!

We usually pick up a last minute deal easy enough, especially if your not tied to school hols. We done 2 weeks in Lanzarote, Easter school hols AI 3* £250 each but booked it 24 hours before flying with MyTravel.

www.holiday.co.uk is a good search engine.
Is it only 1 week you are looking for?
Just did a quick search for Jan first date I put in came up with 5* AI £229
Date Tue, 09 Jan 07 Accom Hotel Sun Zeynep
Departs Gatwick 10:30 Resort Belek
Returns Gatwick 20:10 Basis
All Inclusive
Duration 7 nights Rating 5*

... but still to add on fuel supp etc, don't forget all the little 'extras' companies charge for

Yes agree the extras add up booking so far in front, but a last minute deal in Jan/Feb There should be no problem going for £200 for 7 nights. We have gone 3 of us for £500 a few times
The one I quoted above cost us £250 incl. for 14 nights other families there had paid £750 each (could have gone to Florida for that)

I would recommend booking nearer to the time, my parents always go away in february every year as and they don't book till after Christmas, they just go on to the TO websites and do a last minute search, they don't have a destination in mind, just go with the best deal and some where that is warm.

Last year they went to Egypt in february.

a good site is 'florida cancellations' on the left hand side of the home page there is an option for 'other destinations' there are some last minute cheapies to be had there, not sure about 'all inclusive though'

Jules

Just received an email from Teletext holidays (www.teletextholidays.co.uk) with All inclusive prices which reminded me of this thread. The very cheapest price on there is 3* in Marmaris flying from Manchester for £209. No dates are specified but it will obviously be for a departure in the very near future.

I'd be amazed if you can get a c£200 price for Jan/Feb now, but if you are flexible and are able to fly at very short notice, you might get close to your price target nearer the time.

Been there very good First choice holidays as well.

Not for winter but the best AI I have ever had was the LOIUS ZANTE BEACH Laganas Zante, Very very good food entertainment on the beach, pool snacks all the time very good. And not to expensive, it books up fast.
FIRST CHOICE COSMOS THOMAS COOK I think OLYIMPIC or another greek TA.
