Where's best for Easter Meal?

We're going in April: I was wondering who has a great meal planned for Easter Sunday.

What hotels have decorations or activities?

Does Grand Floridian dress up? Maybe 1900 Fare or Citricos?

We are staying at Boardwalk - does anything happen there?

Hmm, in 2004 we did Chef Mickey's for brunch and had a great time because it was a lot of fun, food was just so-so (no kids). This year we did the brunch at Palio and didn't quite enjoy it because for whatever reason we were shifted to a cramped back table in an empty restaurant, and the food just didn't justify the price (around $42/person). Next year, not sure yet, but I think we'll do dinner.

I don't remember exactly what the decorations look like, but I know some of the resorts do them. The Contemporary had chocolate decorated eggs in 2004.

We did Le Cellier for Easter 2004. It was wonderful!

We will be there for Easter this year and was thinking on avoiding the parks altogether for that day. I was thinking Fulton's Crab House (our favorite WDW restaurant) or a Sunday Brunch at Renissance or Palms. Still have some time to decide but plan on making all my ADR's at the 90 day mark. It's gonna be a zoo that week.

Actually, that's a fantastic idea, thanks. One of our friends has been dying to go back and I wasn't sure when we would be able to make it.

We thought it would be. We're going with 4 other families, so we will be doing a lot of non-park, more hotel type stuff. Boardwalk has a lot for a teen to do - ESPN, games at Boardwalk and a few video game places.

Someone mentioned that the deluxe hotels have big decorations and chocolate eggs.....

I'm keep going back and forth between 1900 Park Fare and Brown Derby. If MGM has EMH that evening, then we'll do HBD. If not, we'll go with 1900 Park Fare.

I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking about an Easter trip when we still have Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas to deal with.

I know. I'm going with a few people, so I want to be able to plan carefully for that day. It is predetermined that it will be very busy during that time and I want to get my HOT meals determined, so I can book them, accordingly.
