Where's all the food? Dec. Disneymoon Short Dining Report

Okay this is going to be a very short end to my dining report. Why you might ask... Was it our last day? No. However, our dining came up short.

Today was our second to last day of our honeymoon. We headed to Magic Kingdom and had a great time. Once we got hungry we decided just to head back to the resort and have lunch and a nap. We both ate at the POP Food Court and each got the Double Bacon Cheeseburger combo w/fries... this was a lot of food... I couldn't eat it all. After lunch we headed back to our room for a nap.

Our plan was to take a nap, then head out to Epcot and enjoy our dinner ADR at Le Cellier (one of my favs), and walk around the World Showcase so DH and I could try a few drinks. I was so excited for him to try Le Cellier and we were wanting a little alcohol since we hadn't had much.

Then I woke up from my nap and wasn't feeling so well. Sometimes if I fall asleep for a while during the day, I don't feel too great after, so just thought my body needed some time to adjust. Then I realized I felt very nauseated, like to the point of... well you probably know :crazy2: . I NEVER get sick like that unless I have the virus. At first I thought maybe it was food poisoning, but DH ate the exact same thing I did in the same batch, so I figured it wasn't that. Then when I got home I heard about the virus that was going on at Disney, so I must have fallen victim to it. Unfortunately, our plans were ruined. We stayed in, I couldn't keep anything down. Poor DH didn't eat much that night, I told him to go to the food court and get some food. He went and got chips or something like that, but that's all. We definitely became closer since he had to take care of me and I was basically sick all night.

December 18th was our day to leave. Our flight wasn't until 6:30ish though. I was still sick, not as bad as before, but I still couldn't keep anything down. I called the front desk and asked for a late check out; they said the latest I could stay was 12:30, so I stuck with that. I had planned on us going to DTD today, have breakfast at Wolfgang Puck Express (Yummy Cornflake French Toast), but of course that didn't happen. We basically sat (and laid) around in the food court until 3ish when DME came to get us. (If you saw a blonde woman laying in the food court booth asleep, that was me!).

When we got to the airport, DH asked if we could get upgraded on the flight, and we could! He paid extra so that we would be close to the bathroom, have nice leather seats, and more space. I have never flown first class before, and wish I could have enjoyed it more, but I was glad nevertheless. I slept the entire flight home. I started feeling better the next day, but it took a couple more for the weakness to go away. Of course, now I feel much better and wish there was more Disney food! Sorry for the short & sad food ending, but I will be back in May w/my mom & I will do a picture report next time!
