Yeah, I haven't back to the cruise board for very long but I haven't seen anything since returning. BD...where are you?!?!

BD has been gone for quite a while -- I think there was a difference of opinion over what were appropriate posts on the board.

I think his dry sense of humor was very well appreciated by many of us, and as with all sharp wit, probably offended a few people. It is a shame, he was probably the most talented writer on this board, and I will miss the pleasure of reading future trip reports from him.

Wow, I guess a lot happens when you leave for a little bit. I loved reading his posts~~I agree he is a very talented writer. Maybe he still lurks and will read this thread. If you are BD....

Count me in as a lover of reading BD's posts. Often DH would catch me chuckling at the computer and ask what was up---it was always something from BD.

Honestly, I used to write things-post them-and then say to myself .."yup BD is gonna have a field day with that!"

I miss BD also. Between BD's posts and Nick and Cindy's creative smilies, I could always rely on a daily dose of laughter here on the boards. Luckily, we still have Nick and Cindy's smilies. I'll have to admit, the drama series that was going on back in the fall here was enough to rival tv's soap operas! If you missed "tuning in" a day, then you missed alot.
Anyway, Happy New Year everyone!

I must have missed what happened too... Count me in as a BD fan too. I loved how he'd pounce on innocent comments, or spelling errors & give them his little twist on things... He is a very talented writer indeed.

I also agree that Nick & Cindy's smilies are the best. I wish I could figure out how you guys do it! Needless to say, sometimes the best commentary doesn't need words ~ only smilies will do...
Nick & Cindy are the most talented "smilers" on this board!

I hope BD resurfaces again on these boards soon!

Just what do you have to do to get banned? I haven't posted in long time but when I use to BD was one of the posts I always tried to read. Just like I do veranda man, or Tony and Barbs. I lurk here alot. But some how I missed all of this. You wil be missed BD.

It was always kind of a game to see just how soon he would reply. I'd read something a little "odd" and know that if I kept reading I would get a little laugh.

I think someone else mentioned this as well. I know I would write something and think "BD will catch me, better rephrase this". If I did, I would have thought it was funny!!

I guess we all don't have the same sense of humor. But those are the little things that make the board fun.
