Once when my boys rode up front of the monorail they were given Co-Pilot License. Our pilot was really nice and the boys enjoyed the ride. They asked a lot of questions. When we were getting off he hand them the license. Has anyone else got one? It makes a nice souvenir!

YES! Last year on our very first day we were lucky enough to sit with the pilot and when we were done we were handed the license.

Lots and lots of fun.

We just returned from our first trip, we rode up front twice, and weren't given a license. But the ride alone was enough.

My girls have done it 2 times and they never had any when they went. They were very disappointed. :sad2:

On our first family trip in 2001 the Monorail Conductor gave each us a Co-Pilot's License when we sat up front with him. Made a nice little souvenir! :)

My boys got them on our trip last year. They were also given bus-driver licenses from one of the bus drivers.

Yep, I got one 2 years ago. Hope I can get one this trip-in 2 weeks!

My DGF and I rode upfront in January but were not given a license (of course we are 20 y o) But I know that Conductor was mad because some guy jumped the line and slipped in with us right before the door was shut. So i decided not to ask

As a matter of fact, any time a younger person rides in the front, I believe they get one of these co-piolet lisences. I have gotten a couple over the many years I have visited WDW. It's a lot of fun to ride in the front of the Monorail!

DS (5 and 1/2 at the time) got one when we rode up front....matter of fact, DH & I got one too! :teeth:

Yes! Last time we went before DS was born, we got them on a ride up front. I don't know if the fact that I had on my monorail tee with "Designated Driver" on the back had anything to do with it or not. :)

Our girls (DD4 and friend 5) rode at the very back of the train at AK when headed to the conservation station. They were choosen as "co-conductors". They got to say "All aboard" in the microphone and then received little certificates as well.

My nephews and their mom and I rode up front 2003 NYE from MK to Epcot, but the driver didn't have any more co-pilot licenses. I think getting to ride up front is special, and folks shouldn't plan on the license.

We rode up front last January and the driver seemed kind of miffed that we were up there. She didn't say a word to us the entire time. My daughter didn't receive anything. Debby

We got one on a trip a couple of years ago. Cute!
