Hi all,
So lets say you just been hired in disney and they give you your choice as too anywhere you want to work inside disney anyplace, where would you choose? I have 2 places i would want to work either cm at the front gates of the Mk greeting everyone as they enter or a cm in the haunted mansion, what about you??
well, since i'm dreaming, i'd want to run the whole kit 'n' kaboodle!

Hmmm -- I would love to work at AK's Conservation Station, educating the folks on the animals at one of the inside areas, as well as working with the fur babies outside.

I think it would also be fun to work at MK's The Emporium and/or Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe. :cheer2:

I can't choose just one!

I'd like to be a wedding coordinator - planning Disney weddings would be fun. I also want to be Minnie Mouse. But I'd also like to help with the animals over at AK..... what to do what to do?

Okay, I'll start at AK, then transfer to weddings, then retire as Minnie! :)

At a Value Hotel, like POP or All Stars or in one of the Shops at Downtown or MK or Epcot! :thumbsup2 THIS is what I would apply for if I were to retire from my present job, and make the BIG BOLD Move to the World! :woohoo:

i would love to be a maintenance super at one of the resorts...

in the parks i would have to work as a pirate at potc,,, the one eye thing kinda makes that fit..lol...

actually according to disnesy posted hireing requirements, i cannot work there.

my facial disfigurement, and beard and long hair make me ineligible.

As Alice or Wendy for a face character. If not that, one of the guides for the KTTK tour. Lastly, one of the event coordinators for the conventions, special events, or weddings. We had our wedding in December at Disney and I cannot tell you how much I covet their jobs!

DH says that when he retires, he wants to drive monorails all day long :)

I want to be in the dinner show for the Hoop Dee Doo Review. How much fun would that be?

A woman in our area went to work at Disney around 15-20 years ago (boy I'm getting old!) and she does Disney weddings. While I've not seen her in many years, when she used to come home, she'd always tell us how much she loved her job. Eventually her parents moved to Florida too and now work for Disney as well; thus the reason she stopped coming home. I'm not sure what they do though.

I think that's what I'd like to do.

IMO, it wouldn't really matter what you did though, you'd always be dealing with people that are super happy and excited. That alone would make the job very worthwhile.

Ride operator in Pirates ride. Love that dark, musty, bayou atmosphere. Plus I think I'd make a cute female pirate! pirate:

I'd want to be one of the princesses. It would be cool to have little girls AND their dads digging me! Probably Cinderella, since I'm a blonde anyway.

My other choice would be working with the Western Lowland gorillas and other primates at AK. I live with DH, which is as close as it gets, though!

I asked DH, and here's his direct answer: "Walt Disney, Jr. What kind of silly question is that?!"

I'd probably prefer transportation - just being able to see all the folks with their anticipation of getting where their going. . . :goodvibes

Imagineer. I'd have to get an engineering degree first, but that's a minor detail! I would want to do something on the creative side, working with new attractions and finding ways to improve the parks. The first thing I'd do is take out the carnival area of AK and put something there that fits better with the theme of the park.

I want to be one of those guys with a walkie talkie that come out of nowhere when something happens. They have the best hiding spots and they never appear to be sweating.

:goodvibes

I would be one of the people that takes care of the horses! I would LOVE to work with the draft horses that work on Main Street in MK, but any horses would do.
Or I would be in the Meg costume from Hercules. I think she's cool.
Or at the end of Figment so I could hear that song all day.

I actullay met someone like this on my last trip. :thumbsup2 He was the guy that "controlled the crowd" when Spectromagic was coming down by Frontierland. ;) Believe it or not, he has seen people RUN out in front of these floats and almost get run over! :sad2: He's the guy that tells everyone to stay PUT! He works from 6:00am until the Park closes, 10 year veteran! :teeth:

CM in Haunted Mansion or at Epcot. Oh heck I would work just about anywhere for Disney! :)

Definetly NOT one of the poor folks that directs cars to their parking space! Not in this Florida heat!!!

I think I'd want to be one of the CM's along the Maharaj Jungle Trek in AK, telling people about the animals there.
