So Swindon are twinned with WDW, not an obvious choice to most people so which UK town would you twin with WDW and why?

My vote would be for London - many visitor attractions, lots to see, plenty of hotels and restaurants and varied transport system.

I agree London would of been so much better.

I wish I had entered Chatham now, if Swindon won my town would of been in with a good chance :lmao:

IMHO London would not be an automatic choice. Witness the difference of people talking to you while travelling on the monorail while the complete opposite while travelling on the tube :rolleyes1:lmao:

I quite like the fact that it was a smaller place that won... congratulations Swindon.. rather than a larger city :goodvibes

I see what you mean about the tube. When I first moved to Surrey from the Midlands I'd get some odd looks when I said "Hello" to total strangers.

I'm not belittling the fact that Swindon won, it's great for them, but as a lot of reactions have been surprise I was just wondering which locations wouldn't have got that reaction.

Blackpool :goodvibes. Its still not back on its feet yet but it is getting there very gradually and I really believe one day it could become a family resort again. Its come a long way in the past year thanks to the Royal Variety Show and Strictly.

Well, my first choice would have been Bournemouth because I actually like living here. DD and I did try to enter but they closed the competition early.....

I like that Swindon won rather than a big city. My dog Shadow was born there so IMO there's one good reason! :rotfl: :dogdance: :rotfl:
