Just to clarify one point or maybe I'm being dense this am. You stated 9 people (8 over 18 and a 14) then only listed 8 plus an infant. Then you asked if it was 9 allowed or 9 plus an infant. So with the idea it may be 9 plus an infant in mind in case that's where you really are, ONE baby won't count for occupancy. This means that 9+1 is OK for THV, AKV (except value rooms) and BLT. All other 2 BR would not be OK for a group of 10 including an infant.
Regardless, unless you want to be on top of each other, I'd also recommend the 2 BR plus studio and even then I'd do a 2 BR lockoff so those in the second BR have access to coffee on their own and can come and go without disturbing the rest. Since there are no children such that MK is required, I'd suggest you book SSR at 11 months out for either a 2 BR + studio (THV) then consider trying to get something else at the 7 month window. If you won't have a car, I'd suggest BWV standard view as the first option, BW view as second and BCV or BWV preferred next depending on personal preference and availability. If not available for what you want, you can book what you can then wait list. If you will have a car, then OKW for a 2 BR plus a studio jumps up as a good choice as well.
The other option booking a studio gets you is that if someone cancels, you can more easily modify your trip if needed.
