Where would you stay (price no object)?

I'd like to do the Royal Palm Club concierge in the GF's main building. We were fortunate enough to get to try it for our honeymoon, but I don't think it will be in the finances to do it again any time soon.

DisneyFan09: Can you elaborate on why the Poly concierge is so good?

I have always heard it is great, but if you can shed any of the down and dirty little secrets, I know we will all love it. Nothing like living vicariously through our DisBoard friends!;)

The lounge itself is beautiful. The main floor has floor to ceiling windows that look out onto the lagoon and Cinderella Castle. The best part of my trip was sitting at those tables watching the castle change color!! AHHHHH!

Then there are the food selections. Breakfast consisted of several kinds of fresh pastry, cold cereal and hot oatmeal with bowls of raisins and brown sugar to add if you like, and of course fresh fruit. We were not at the resort much in the afternoon but I think they put out cookies, fruit and uncrustables. Evening was appetizers of all sorts, usually a different theme for each night. There was so much food that we cancelled a ps because the food at the lounge was so plentiful. Then later at night they had dessert and drinks. All kinds of little fun desserts and fresh fruit. They usually always had fruit out so you could go into the lounge any time during the day and find something to eat. They also had water bottles (which I've heard they've stopped doing), bottles of soda and juice.

Also the location of the Hawaii building can't be beat!! Just steps from the beach and pool and maybe just feet to the marina and great ceremonial house.

I can't say enough good stuff about our experience. Oh and I forgot to mention the staff, they were wonderful. If there was anything that you needed all you had to do was ask and they would accomodate you. And my girls loved the turn down service (chocolates on pillow), but were a bit baffled by it. They couldn't understand why anyone would need someone else to fold down there covers!!

:cheer2: Poly Concierge Lagoon View :cool1: First floor great view of the castle. :D

Contemporary Resort, as high as possible, MK view, Concierge AND

Poly, Lagoon View, Concierge.

One week at each.... paradise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AKL -- Savannah View -- non-concierge (don't think it's worth the extra cost at this location)

My dh and I absolutely loved AKL this past fall. In fact, we're planning a visit with the kids in May.

How old are your kids?

If under 12 - Poly Concierge, Lagoon View

If older than 12 - BW Concierge, preferred view.

BWI Deluxe Concierge--We actually are staying in December!! This is our dream vacation for a couple of years so we are going to enjoy it!!!

I would have to try the Poly concierge lagoon view after all I've heard about it on the DIS.

"SqueakyMouse
AKL -- Savannah View -- non-concierge (don't think it's worth the extra cost at this location)"

I'm not sure that is totally true considering the food offerings, services, and accomodations at the AKL. This remains one of WDW value secrets.

I would do the Contemporary tower view of the castle for 1 week and thanBoardwalk 2 bedroom villa the second. I wouldn't bother with concierge if there is a fridge in the rooms. I could also eat at every restaurant I ever wanted to if I had the money to do this!!

That's a real tough one! You think it would be easy but there are so many wonderful places that each have their own unique qualities. It would be a toss up for me. But I can at least narrow it down. I would either stay at the Beach Club or Beach Club Villas, either overlooking Epcot or the lake, whichever I prefered at the time of reservations - my fav, however, is the lake and seeing the Boardwalk lit up at night across the way. Or I would stay at the Boarwalk, obviously overlooking the boardwalk and seeing the Beach and Yacht Club accross the lake with Epcot off to the side! If I felt more in the mood to overlook the Magic Kingdom, I would stay at the Poly, concierge of course! (This is of course, if money were no object!) This is a wonderful hotel and has an AMAZING view. It is great to wake up in the morning and see the castle - VERY magical!

AKL concierge. I'm not really a concierge kind of girl, but I would love to do the sunrise safari.
