We check into the GCV on 6/13. We are driving from Utah to Anaheim on 6/12 and are needing a hotel that first night. AP rates are decent for the PPH if we want to stay on-property: $200 total for 6/12.
The HoJo is $150 total with taxes for their deluxe room. I haven't been to their new pool but it looks super fun. We stayed at the HoJo in 2005 and liked it.
We won't be going into the parks that night post arrival. My plan is to find an In N Out burger, eat, drop the hubby and kids, and then head to the grocery store.
$50 is $50.
We will have to drive over to the GCV in the morning to drop bags and check in so while the PPH is closer, I don't think it matters much as we'll have to drive regardless.
Where would you stay and why? I added an "other" option in case.
I know some might say stay at the GCH but spending upwards of $275 for one night? Not interested especially because it won't save all much time in the morning, or will it?
ETA: We could stay at the Anaheim Marriot on Convention way as well for $115 including taxes and parking.
