Where would you sell china

I have a place setting for four of Noritake first blush china. Four. Yeah. Not really enough for entertaining, now is it? Where would you go to sell it? I tried CL (I'm not sure that's the kind of item that sells there) and I thought about ebay, but I think I'd only sell as a set, otherwise what a pain for shipping!

Any thoughts???

Just don't look at how much they will be selling your stuff for, if you're going to use replacements.com...it's painful compared to what they will pay you (though what they pay is nice).

Just read this weekend that Ebay is usually the way to go, and to list each piece separately, not as a set. This is because people who go to Ebay are usually looking to replace something they have broken, and you will most likely get more money total by doing it this way. You can check other auctions to see what pieces are normally selling for.

I had 4 sets of china and was surprized at how fast it sold on ebay!

Selling on ebay is probably best, but you don't have to sell each piece individually. You can sell as a 5 piece place setting. Sell each setting separate. The only caveat is don't list them all at once, since you may get less money. Right now is the best time to sell china and crystal since now is the time (Thanksgiving and Christmas) that most people break out the good stuff for parties and dinners.

If you don't want to go the e-bay route, check to see if you have a local housewares consignment shop. We have one locally and it does a booming business. Almost like an antiques mall, but mostly "newer" stuff and everything is in good condition. At my local store stuff sells for about what you'd sell it on ebay for only they get 40%.
