Where would you rent from Car Care Center or Dolphin and why?

We're staying at POP. I have reservations with National for both the Car Care Center and Dolphin. I'm going to cancel one of them. I just can't decide which would be the best way to go.

If we rent from the Dolphin, it seems like a small hassle to get there to pick up the car, but returning would be great, because we want to go to Epcot in the morning when we return the car.

The Car Care Center seems nice for the shuttle pick up at our hotel, but then I'm concerned we might get sidetracked when they drop us off after we return the car. We want to go to Epcot that morning, so the shuttle would have to drop us off there. And I'd like to be there at the opening.

Any advice from someone who has rented from both? Which would be the easiest and fastest? It's just me and my 7 year old DD. Thanks again! :goodvibes

We stayed at POP and rented from the Dolphin. We just headed to Epcot on that day, did the paperwork and picked the car up when the park closed. Depending on when you need to pick the car up, you could head to Epcot and then walk through Epcot to the Dolphin, go to MGM and either walk or boat to Dolphin. Or you could take a cab...it shouldn't be too much since POP is pretty close to the S/D.
I loved renting from there....Melissa, at the counter, was extremely helpful, there wasn't a big crowd.of course, we did the paperwork at 3:00 pm. Too me, getting to and from the CCC is a big pain, especially if renting from the Dolphin is at all doable.

and hands down, the Dolphin is MUCH easier. The CCC had a long line and was a hassle (for me) to deal with. On the other hand, the Dolphin (and Melissa) is great! Within walking distance of MGM AND Epcot, it's so easy as goofy4tink posted!!! :teeth:

We've rented from both. Paperwork wise, the Dolphin was easier in our experience. Not as many people seem to go to the Dolphin, so the wait is less. Plus, when you return your car, you can just leave it with the valets in front of the Dolphin and they will return it for you. The only downside is getting to the Dolphin since there is no resort to resort Disney transportation. But I don't think it's that big of deal to go the MGM-to-Dolphin route.

And if you're trying to get to Epcot for the opening, then the option to just return the car with the valet will help you save time.
