Where would you rather stay..............

Wher would you rather stay at an all-star resort or a moderate resort with a slide and a hot tub?
Im a Mom and I would like some teens oppinions on this-Im going to surprise my kids with a trip.

I have to say I am very spoiled and we have always stayed at the Grand Floridian and the Yacht and Beach Club. I think if your children appreciate luxury (as myself and my little brother do) then you should go ahead and book the moderate hotel. However, if they are big music or sports or movies fans...then I would consider the All-Stars.
Also: Though it is a deluxe resort, it is worth noting the pool area of the Yacht and Beach club is amazing.

Okay. My favorite Mod resort is POFQ. I've stayed there multiple times. The location is right by DTD. There is no problem with transportation to any park. Building 4 has a great location right by the busses and the food court. I love the jazz theme and the water slide. (Though I forget what they named that dragon-slide!) The only problem is getting to the hot tub without burning your feet.

Anyway.

I love the theme at POFQ. It's so jazzy and music-like.

The Port Orleans resorts are very nice, from what I have seen of them. Last trip, we visited, and the pools looked like lots of fun. I'd stay away from the CS restaurants at those two hotels though. It's hit or miss. You can't go wrong with deluxe, especially the Yacht and Beach Clubs. That is easily the nicest pool on property, IMO. The moderates have tons of theming, which can be fun. How much does location and food matter?

We always stay at the AKL or the Swan... I've also stayed at the Poly and Beachwalk it just depends on what your kids like... I've alsways been partial to the Swan..

Moderate.
I'm just saying, that the Value hotels are close to many of the theme parks, making it harder to get to places quicker. A lot of the moderate hotels are closer to MGM & Epcot.

pop century is considered an all star...

anyway. i personally love the allstars. i dont stay in the big fancy hotels. my mom believes that the more you spend on the resort, the less you spend inside the parks. ive never minded. i love them, theyre all fun and easy to navigate, imaginitive, and cheap. i guess it all just depends on your tastes.

Im happy with All-stars, my family and I can stay at moderates and stuff like we stayed a carribean beach and didnt really care for it. I like the simple stuff, like the all star themes really make you believe your at disney instead of the moderates which are themed like tropical, or cabins or stuff. I rather stay at a place you dont see to much and Im happier there but thats my opinion

I think that all star's are very cute. (I love the Movies the best!)
But, if they like to be a little spoiled I would go to a moderate. (I love the PORS & CB the best!)

If you can I would defentily reccomend the Campground's Cabin's.

i LOVE the values. i think they feel so much more disneyish and have so much more stmosphere to them. i have only stayed in one deluxe and i didnt enjoy it as much. the feel just wasnt there but hey i'm weird.

That resort is amazing.
The pool is too cool for words. I was so jealous when we were going to Beaches & Cream (if we ever go back to WDW, we're not going back there because we waited for an hour to get a table and then they told us we'd have to waited another hour because they had parties of 8 & 17 inside) because there was sand in the pool. What is cooler than that?
