Where would you like to add on or buy 1st time

After seeing one of the Poly threads I thought to myself Poly could maybe sell out just from add-ons. Lets see what a poll says about a few resorts.
By the way, you can vote for more than 1 resort.

If we did any add-on of points, we would likely focus on California (whether at VGC or any new resorts they turn into DVC) and at WDW, I would prefer to increase our BLT holdings.

No need to Poly or Grand Floridian points, especially at these rates.

I voted for the poly and to add on at and older dvc resort. I currently have 2 contracts at BLT, if we don't do anything else I would add onto BLT.

Not a lot of voters yet but so far it looks like VGC is in the lead. I think I am going to try to stay at VGC. Its hard to get at 7 months, if nothing else maybe we can go have lunch there so we can see the resort. I think it is about 100 miles from my daughter in San Diego.

My wish list is for AKV, Vero and Poly.My children (young adults) and DH all love AKV. They have all been to Polynesian for dinner and also love that atmosphere. Vero Beach is also a favorite and I would love to stay there just as much as Disney. I would love to see a Florida Gulf resort.

I was very tempted to purchase a small contract for VGF. I like everything about the VGF except the room décor. Not into Victorian style. I also did not care for BLT when I toured it. I have stayed at BCV and was not a big fan either.

Would love to buy a contract at HHI as it's small and seems you need the 11 month window to book a 1BR there at popular times. Tried to get a 1BR for first week of April and it never came through. We did a VISA discount stay in 2010 and absolutely loved HHI! No plans to buy another contract right now but eventually I'd love one.

AKL For me I think it is perfect . Just enough of the mouse touch but far enough away from all the rush that is the parks .

I voted for an older resort. All of our holdings are in AKV. I think we finally have enough points there, for now. I was hoping to get some BWV this year, but with the recent surge in resale prices and dearth of inventory, I chose to get some more AKV points. I may wait a couple of years now for BWV. BLT may be something of interest in a few years, although we have not had any trouble getting BLT during the times that we travel. VGC is of no interest, as we probably will only get to DL once or twice in the next ten years.

Yes, I was surprised Aulani isn't even offered as a choice in the poll. Its like Aulani is the red-headed child everyone forgets.

Hmmm...
I said Poly but should have also said "one of the older DVC resorts at WDW" as we'd also add on at BLT. Currently doing so and just got shot down on an offer for another 25 point add-on (which may be just as well, I need someone to reel me in ).

Anyway,
I'd think seriously about the Poly when it comes to be. It's the only other resort that we really love that could be hard at 7 months. We're not concerned with the Grand Floridian.

VGC (or another theoretical DVC DLR resort) and Poly. I would like enough VGC points to stay for four/five nights every other year... Right now it's just a dream.

I voted poly and old resorts . I will most likely add a few more points to my existing contract , to be able to get a 1 br with 2 years of points . And I can see myself add poly in the future .

Would love to add on at SSR and/or OKW since this is where we seem to gravitate.
We already own at a monorail resort and an Epcot resort but would like to save our points for stays at those places.
