We will be there for Thanksgiving week this year. We will stay off site the first two nights. Then we move to AKV from Sun - Fri. We will have the Dining Plan.

Keep in mind, we will only go to the parks 4 (or 5) days during the week. I am wondering if we should be in the parks for Turkey Day or should we stay out because of the crowds?? :confused3

I am having a REALLY hard time trying to decide where to eat. I was originally thinking 'Ohana, but I heard they totally switch up their menu to more of a traditional Thanksgiving Day feast, like MOST places do. If I go to 'Ohana, I want to eat their NORMAL fare. :headache: Then DH tells me he wants to eat a Traditional Thanksgiving Day meal that day!!!

Should I eat off site and use that TS meal on our check out day?? Should I suck it up and go to the parks and eat at LTT using our Dining Plan credit?

I am SO confused!!!!!

We will be at WDW for Thanksgiving too !! Also have the dining plan. Would love some advice on this as well.

DS10 has requested WCC for dinner, so that's what we'll probably do.

Liberty Tree Tavern at the Magic Kingdom. Traditional Thanksgiving is their meal EVERY evening even when it isn't Thanksgiving. I've not eaten there yet, but we have ressies for our summer 08 vacation there and we can't wait:yay: We like comfort food and this place fits the bill. I've also read WONDERFUL reviews on it. It is a character dinner too and the characters are all dressed up Colonial style which everyone raves about. I think you should highly consider this:thumbsup2

go to allears.net to find our more and also use the search engine on this site and type in Liberty Tree Tavern dinner and you'll get tons of information. Goodluck and have fun:banana:

That is exactly what I was going to suggest! It will make you feel like you are at home having Thanksgiving dinner...and the characters make it even more fun! The only thing they don't have is the pumpkin pie! :)
