Where would you eat at DCA?

Hey!! My husband and I are on our way and will be in the park in three hours! Where would you suggest we have lunch/dinner?? We are first timers and willing to try anything! Thanks guys!

My family loves the Wine Country Trattoria and we eat there on every trip! Their shrimp appetizer is yummy!! We always share pasta dishes to cut down on price and calories! LOL

I would go to Carthay Circle. Both the restaurant and the lounge are very good. In the Lounge, the Lobster Pad Thai Roll is my favorite and in the restaurant, the House Biscuits are amazing.

For a more casual experience (i.e., counter service), I would probably opt for Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta (Paradise Pier). The salads are pretty good, as are the flatbreads.

I like Paradise Garden Grill for the Mediterranean skewer platter. They come with the meat (chicken or steak), 3 different sauces on the side (you can and should get all 3), rice, and a cucumber salad. All very good! They also have a gyros platter which I have not yet tried (must do that soon!)

Have to agree with Figment about Carthay Circle! So yummy and the biscuits are incredible!

For CS, we like the Pacific Wharf area. I love the sandwiches at Pacific Wharf Cafe and DH loves the Mexican and Chinese food there. We also love Flo's, but haven't been since they just changed the menu.

If you're on a budget, the clam chowder bread bowls are really good at the Pacific Wharf. You can even grab a table on the water for a good Monterey feel.

Another vote for Paradise pier grill. Had not tried it before our visit in 2013 now it is a must. I also like Flo's and Carthay circle. Tend to stay away from Wharf and Taste pilot. But that is just me.

I didn't do any sit down while there but for quick service my favourites were Flo's and Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta. Loved the salad.

We had lunch at the Cove Bar a couple weeks back. The lobster nachos and tri tip sliders are really good. The drinks also looked good. I may go there for lunch tomorrow.

Carthay Circle is the best table service place int the park. Flo's and Pacific Wharf at also pretty good CS. Of course you can't go wrong with Corn Dog Castle either.

Arriving mid day I would grab fast food on the way so I could go straight for the rides.
