At home I used to have a La Marzocco so it can be challenging to duplicate when traveling. I get grouchy when I start my day and I don’t enjoy my coffee. My last stay at VDH, I repeatedly complained to them on how bad their coffee was at their coffee shop. I now travel with Blue Bottle Craft NOLA Instant and Intelligentsia Black Cat Instant Espresso and bring milk with handheld frother.

Same! I don't get grouchy per se, but my day just won't feel right and it's hard for me to move on unless I find something else that I'm satisfied with. That first cup is very important! Glad I'm not the only one because for the longest time I was like...okay I guess I'm high maintenance!

Okay so I actually really liked the coffee at AKV I got it at the refillable mug station at Kidani and at Boma particularly Boma. I had just gotten off the Red Eye so I may have just been delirious. So I want to order some to try at home and see what I think. Does anyone know which blend it is by chance?

Edit: Nevermind I just needed to scroll and read the website and I would've seen its the "flavors of Africa" blend.
