Starbucks at Disney is a whole thing.. so stressful even for us masters of coffee. I can imagine that was like writing a check at the grocery store with a looong line behind you just waiting on you. Even I have had when I look up at the menu and somehow cant find my words anymore and I feel like its my 1st time at Starbucks
I rarely go to charrbucks when I'm at home and refuse to go at the parks. When I see that's the first line people stand in at MK, I'm like...for real?😂 The worst line I've see was at Epcot.

It's totally okay people think coffee is gross and don't drink it. Not a crime if you don't like it 😉

What gets me is people who drink bougie foo foo coffee think they know coffee. If I ever hear anyone order a 16oz bone dry cappuccino...please get out!! 😒 Or anyone that orders macchiato at local coffee shop and think it's going to be a charrbucks (starbucks) macchiato and tell the barista that's wrong, not what they ordered, please also get out and go back to charrbucks! 😑 I can tell you that charrbucks baristas already have more patience than local shops. There are some will straight up tell you no, they won't make that drink simply because it's not what they do even though they can do it. Or they will correct you.
Me googling what a bone dry cappuccino is. Maybe I am not such a coffee snob after all 🤣

We go all the time. Where I live there is not a lot of coffee shops. But what I order most people find gross, I love it and it's a cheap drink hack.

I worked in coffee before. While I'm not a coffee master, I just can't with people because I know they don't know what they are ordering. I had a customer ordered 16oz bone dry cap before and I looked at him like...for real? So I literally made him a latte, but with a bit extra foam...he never complained! I was testing him to see if he would come back and say "hey this isn't right". If he did come back I would have told him, sorry sir but 16oz cap isn't a thing to begin with, and you wanted it bone dry!?!!!? are you out of your mind?

See I cant even really get on board with cappuccino because the cheapness in me feels like im paying for 50% foam, when I am at home with my cheap frother though give me all the foam.

I feel likeI want to order a bone dry cappuccino at the local bux to see the look on their face

OMG do it and report back!! :rotfl2: I know that's mean to the baristas but I'm very curious!!🤭😂 Now if you order an 8oz bone dry, it's not bad, but anything bigger than 8oz...that's when you might get the look! But what wouldn't surprise me is that, they might ask you...what's that? what's bone dry? their app has no such thing, you can't even order it dry! Charrbucks will only train their baristas what's on their menu and customizations that's available. If this is their first barista job and never learned about coffee before, the would have absolutely no clue.

Feeling lonely over here as a water drinker... pretty much all I drink except for the occasional juice if we're out to brunch...
Im a water drinker as well, coffee gives me anxiety unless its decaf which is too bad because I love the taste. Glad Joffreys in the room had that option. I know nothing of coffee and have no idea what some of these posts are talking about 🤣🤣 I do know which is my favorite water though and when I want to feel like im drinking something fancier, Liquid Death it is.

I like Smith tea too and I have some at home. I also like Rishi, both cost a little more but you can tell it's not standard tea. But the best tea I've had, of course it was in London during afternoon tea. Their tea is on a different level! We don't drink tea in the morning though, I can't, I need the caffeine to hit me first!😂 but will drink tea in the afternoon or evening.
Once I got over the tea with milk strangeness to this American, it was lovely 🤣🤣

@VGCgroupie this is how you can tell if a coffee roaster/shop really cares about their coffee:
  • If the menu is very small, no syrup (or just vanilla) available, that means this shop serves basic coffee drinks.
  • If the menu is huge, you see different sizes of cappuccino/macchiato, or worse, ICED cappuccino or ICED london fog...they don't care about quality, they just wanna sell.

Is this why I am anxious all the time 🤣

@VGCgroupie You laugh...but I am not making this shizzz up! I had people asked for iced london fog!!! 😒🤦‍♀️ I actually asked one of them, umm do you want me to just pour cold milk into the hot tea? because I don't how to make that iced?!🤔 Or you want me to put ice cubes in the tea?🤣

The guy in front of me at one of my local okay-ish places once ordered a "Canadiano." The barrista asked what that was: "It's an Americano with half the usual amount of water, so still grounded firmly in North America but with a more European sensibility."

I ended up buying his drink, it was that funny.

Man, I remember when a barista turned me on to dry cappuccinos. It was life changing. I have found that most baristas can't make it. I can't tell you how many times I've ordered and been handed a drink that felt heavy in my hand.Blech. I just suck it up, but my cup should feel lighter than a feather. When they hand me a cup that feels empty, I cannot contain my excitement. 🤣

I am like that w/ food. Watching YT foodie vlogs is a real torture sometimes!
I don't have kids and never been prego, but if I were to ever get prego, no idea how I would survive without coffee, sushi, cheese and salami! 😂
You cant have cheese when you're pregnant 😬 I would die. I heard something about not being able to eat cold cuts

The only time I had anything to with Disney Starbucks was when I wanted this Minnie Stanley cup (i think its called) and went to like 5 different stores trying to find it. Finally found it at World of Disney and saw the price and my mouth dropped

I never had it like that until they served it like that to me on British Airways and I felt like Alice in Wonderland... well this is curious lol also fries with mayonnaise, what a concept!
I didn't realize milk in tea wasn't common here. I've been drinking my tea like that since I was young. Never lived outside the U.S.

I am that person that goes to Starbux and asks for a medium drink 🤣🤣
