Vermont is so pretty! Only time I visited was a couple of times on the way from Boston to Montreal so did not see much from the highway.

One year we cancelled Disney due to a hurricane, but still ,wanted to get away-decided to take the scenic route through Vermont to Montreal...can you believe the hurricane followed us through western Mass, all the way through Vermont and stayed with us as a tropical storm in Montreal for 2 days!!

Love the bridges - will be a great trip!

Is where to park signes well ?? How far from parking to the Parks? I think the girls will LOVE the Coasters there !! Judy , Kyle and I will enjoy the less thrilling attractions. One more question for you the Wrestling expert Impact Wrestling do you know anything about it ! I know Kyle would be interested !!!

No, it is a hike to the parks from the parking. But it is all that automated walkway or you can just walk on the concourse.

I'm not sure what Impact Wrestling is. I could ask Markie the next time I talk to him.

I live on the eastern side of Vermont about 1/2 way up so I don't know anything about Bennington. We do go up to Burlington quite often and the Shelburne Museum is great as well as the Echo Science Center on Lake Champlain. There are tons of restaurants up there to choose from. Burlingron is a college town with UVM and Champlain College right in the center. Also there is Church Street which is a lovely walking mall with quaint shops and restaurants. I am sure you will have a nice time.

Thanks If time allows will check out both!! One of the restaurants I was looking at was Vermont Pub , had some really English menu items along with Hamburgers etc !!!

Aw, that did brighten my day! Me thinks bugs all around for our Marv.

That was me - the hippie nun. I was kind of on the edges of the whole hippie thing. The group of people I got to know right after leaving the monastery definitely had the hippie "look" and maybe more of that lifestyle - what dud i know fresh out of a monastery? One day I overheard a comment - "why doesn't Jim find himself a real hippie chick?" I was dating Jim at the time....just never made the hippie chick cut...but I did marry Jimmy.

Before I do any replies !!Judy went to see Shawnee today, she was almost in tears at the sight of her , her feet and arms are super swollen , yet she ihas obviously lost sooo much weight (she was tiny to begin with) , the rash is all over body, she has a shunt in her neck so they can get meds , fluids r-etc in her !! She was found to be diabetic( 600 the other day) but with the insulin is down to 113 praise the LORD!!! They still have NO idea what is causing all this !! Please pray for her !! She has very little support from her family , some friends are visiting and Judy feels awful that she can't go every day but with caring for her dog and working and our kids she just can't and Shawnee completely understands ., but Judy is her main Support thruoughout this !!
Helen continues to recover slowly. Right now we are not doing visits as she has MERCER and we can not take the risk of anyone3 being infected , my supervisotr says to support her with cards and phone calls !! So that is what we do !! But she should be going to REHAB soon!!
It is all in the hands of the Lord now and I ask you send lots of prayers for both of them !!
