Where will Disney relocate you from a Boardwalk reservation?

If booked at Boardwalk during the closure this fall, what is the likely resort that Disney will relocate you to if you keep your reservation?

We got relocated to the Contemporary but that was back in July when it was really the only Deluxe resort with two real beds (I insisted it was for 2 couples).

Could be BWV, YC, BCV or even CR or GF or any other DVC based on your specific dates. You really need to be your own advocate and contact Disney. If you want an Epcot resort you only have 3 options. You should contact Disney now and not wait for them.

This week they announced the Poly hotel rooms would not open on Oct. 4th as previously rescheduled. It is now Summer 2021. They also announced the extension of AP resort rates into December, and add discount deals of up to 30% for guests in near by states. And FL Residents are being offered up to 35% discounts thru Dec. 25th.

It really all depends on what's available for your dates. All they guarantee is that it will be the same class of resort (and dvc are considered deluxes)
I agree that you should call now. You don't have to take what they offer yet. If you don't like the offer they give you, you can hang up and try again later and see if they offer something better. But, the next offer might be even less desirable to you.
We were moved from AKL to Contemporary Theme Park view about a month ago for our December stay, but others from AKL were given garden wing. It's very subjective.

Got moved from BWI garden view to cash BWV 1 bedroom standard view; however, I had to pay the price difference. This was 3rd week of July. Nothing at BC and no studios at BWV available. We were staying in a studio at BWV before that. So decided it was worth it to not change resorts.

Hi. What is the AP discount that’s being offered. I didn’t know there was a discount now. Thanks in advance.

The AP discounts that were announced on Monday were just an extension of the original July 9 - Sept. 30 deal of up to 40% off for AP holders on select resorts now extended thru Dec. 25.

I agree. For my recent trip we were at AKL, then Poly, and moved to the DVC side of poly when the resort remained closed.

Myself and others had success by calling and being polite but aggressive. I would tecccomend calling and specifically asking to be moved to a specific resort (I.e. the DVC side of Boardwalk) and see what happens.

3 people at BWI, moved to YC when the change was first announced.
