I will have pictures of course... lots and lots of pictures!!! :cheer2:

Okay...I'm sorry, I know I shouldn't be laughing at your day, but I just can't help it. :rotfl2::rotfl2: But if I know anyone who can handle it, it's you. Poor Stevie. Poor babysitter. POOR couch.

I'm glad you were able to get in the house and get your keys without breaking a window or breaking down the door.

Love the picture at Zack's favorite restaurant.

When anything happens, car accident or anything the first thing my Fil asks is are you all right. Material stuff is just that stuff. Nothing is a precious as a life. My first thought when reading your account was oooooooh hope they didn't hurt the ferrit cutting him out of the couch. So yes I understand how you feel about material stuff. I have also lost everything more than once and had to start over. So just remember to love your family, and I mean pets too. They are part of your family after all.....Glad Stevie is ok :)

I get it too Mo. We had a fire in 1995 Halloween night. All safe except for things they were gone.

But still scissors to leather couch - DOUBLE EEEEK and poor ferret. So funny story. My dog Rocky (a Border Collie mix) was outside after school with my daughter home and scented something under the deck that he wanted so under he went and got his fat butt stuck and couldn't come out. My sister went over to rescue him and they ended up cutting up the deck to get him. No biggie he was fine and that was all that mattered but funny later (MUCH later).

That room surprise was AMAZING and you are going to have a hard time topping that. I want one of those and the duck feathers with the butt up in the box was over the top great.

Have a good day!

I totally get how you feel about "things". I believe that's a healthy way to think. I underwent a similar shift in perspective when my brother died 3 weeks after his 18th birthday. It made me realize each day is a gift and age doesn't make much difference. I've tried to make the most of each day, to be kind to people and let people know I love them on a regular basis. God has us on this earth for a certain number of days and it's up to us how we want to spend them. We can be happy or not, crabby or not, productive or not. It's our choice every single day. Whoa! Sorry, I got carried away. I think you get my drift. haha

I love the Navy Pier!! Only been there once, but it was great. Hope you have so much fun! Dan is leaving early Saturday morning for a mission trip with our former church. I'll miss him so much since I will be leaving for Virginia on Tuesday and will be gone for three weeks. This has just been the most hectic (in a very different way than yours) Spring and Summer! You know, seeing Stevie reminded me of that movie Kindergarten Cop. Did you ever see it? The ferret kinda saves the day at one point. So, you've got that going for you.:rolleyes1 Take care and have a fun weekend with no big drama!:wizard:

Just stopping in to say "HI"....I know you are off having fun with your friend. Can't wait (and also a little scared) to see pictures of all your fun!

I don't think I could have Ferrets. They're fun and all, but a little high energy for us.

I took my niece on a mini mid-west road trip when she was in High School (about 15 years ago) and we went to Chicago; specifically Navy Pier. This is when I learned that she is afraid of heights. I LOOOVE Ferris Wheels and was really excited to go on that huge one on the pier. When we were at the top of this thing, she has hunkered down in her seat, and she's short enough that she couldn't really see out while hunkered. But every once in a while, she'd pop up, snap a picture and then hunker down again. I thought it was hilarious, this teenager popping up, snap a picture and then making herself as small as possible and then popping up again fifteen seconds later; like a gopher popping out of its burrow.

Have Fun on you Mini- Vacation!

WOW what a crazy week..
First. I live about 20 minutes away from one airport. Midway. Where does knucklehead fly into? O'Hare. do you know how long it took me to drive to O'hare? 3 hours!!!!! YES 3 T-H-R-E-E HOURS!!!
i wanted to beat her silly.
total round trip 4 hours on the road in traffic....
We did total tourist trap places and had a ball. right now i am SO tired of being in a car. how am i going to drive to Disney?!?
still think this is going to be different driving TO disney rather then driving from one end of Chicago to another, and stopping several places in between!!!! I do mean SEVERAL. add a 50th wedding anniversary in the middle.. :thumbsup2
Phew i am tired!
Monday she was going home THANKFULLY a friend of mine (Chunk) drove her. By the time i got home i was DEAD tired i was so excited to stay home and go threw the 1500 photo's i have.
THEN
I received a text from Jen.. we have been invited (told) to their house for dinner. :faint:
well.. didn't get home until 10:30ish. I really love that family. we have a blast.
Until... They are putting me up for the board for treasurer. I hope i lose the vote.
:thumbsup2

So today is my first day back to work. What did i do. well i read your reports! :woohoo: So i believe i am caught up!

I have nothing to update but i now have to get some work done and get pictures posted!!!

I am SO EXCITED for all my friends going to DISNEY THIS MONTH!!!! :yay:
and so you know you will all be stalked!!! :dance3:

I love OHare and hate Midway; but when you are in rush hour traffic, it is a nightmare. I fly out of Midway next Friday morning, so I'll wave to you as we fly over. :)

If i lived closer to Ohare i would love it too!!! Yes it was in the middle of rush hour! i think you saw my facebook post? one full hour from about 31st to canalport that's a JOKE!

Monday we took 294 granted it was expensive... well worth it time wise!!

From one of my offices you will be only 10 minutes away!!! I will be waving at you too!!!

I am stalking too!!! :thumbsup2 It seems there are A LOT of people that I'm following going this month!!! Can't wait to see the TRs!! :goodvibes

Me too!!!

these people better take TONS AND TONS of pictures...

As for the home front all is hectic exactly the way i like it. The ferret is doing well Stevie enjoys making me crazy trying to get back into my couch. The dogs no longer care about him So life is settling down in regards to a new smelly animal in the house. :thumbsup2
Football is upon us!!!! :cheer2: This year they are leaving the bulldogs and going to be playing for their school it's bittersweet. I will miss my bulldog family. yet glad to be saving the money it would have cost me!!! :yay:
Meg will be a cheeleader for the school too as a mascot.
ALSO Jen and family have come to the dark side. Their boys will also be playing for our school!!! :cheer2:
SO orange is the new Red. i am STILL editing my pictures with the exception of the few who made it on my web site.

So I feel like i lost my right arm. My main lens has dust INSIDE on the first element!!! :scared1: I had to take it in to a place WAAAAAAAAAAAAY up north by O'hare to have it cleaned. I am seriously LOST WITHOUT IT! i didn't think i would EVER be attached to a material object. Well my camera proves how much i love photography!!! I WANT MY LENS BACK!!! I have to call them today to find out about the patient. :sad1:

So i will leave you with some Disney Pictures..
MIDGETS!!!

Love the faces on these clowns.

I hope you get your lens back asap!!!

Yay for the Midgets playing for their school team!

And LOVE the Midget picture - they are so adorable, as always!
