I need dates to be announced too. I feel like I don't have anything to base my plans on. I have not done the Dessert party or the Pirates cruise, but I have heard GREAT things about both. With the kids...my vote is for the Pirates Cruise.

I think your right... Pirates cruise wins... When we go BACK again we will do the dessert party...

That is a very interesting view on the Values - I often wondered the same thing about them, we really love the mid-day breaks, and I was thinking that the Values never really stop? They just seem so high energy all the time.

ACK... Now I have to go find your PTR - I didn't realize you'd started another one... Or did you tack in on the your previous PTR?



That is totally up to you. I find that TP is extremely valuable to me, since we are not a park hopper family - and I won't spend the $$ on them, unless there is some reason where I must. So, I find the $10+ that I have to spend on TP vs. $100s I have to spend on PH is a much better value. I used to use Tour Guide Mike, but I have heard in recent years that he doesn't keep his info up to date like he used to - as in - he didn't have his best parks info out in time to make the 180 day ADRs... Not sure if he has gotten better about this - but his projections were dead on. We used TP last year during spring break, and I do think the predictions were very close to what it actually was. I guess, my thought is, if you're gonna spend thousands on a trip - $10 isn't going to make much difference. LOL And yes - TP does their crowd predictions 1 year out - they do change a bit once hours and special events are released, but for the most part, they stay pretty close to their original predictions.

I agree it opened my eyes on the Values... there really isn't a down time the rooms are even 'Loud'.. I like to be able to unwind from the crazy days and the atmosphere is pretty upbeat!

i stalk more PTR/TR then i do anything on a computer... even at work..

Don't worry, fall will be back next week...at least that is the story here. We had 80 degrees on Saturday, 40's this week, and it will get back to the 70's next week. Yeah, no big deal...we LOVE having the sniffles and coughs due to all the climate changes!

Halloween is one of my very favorite holidays! i mean it has CHOCOLATE, laughs, and scares!
I have awesome memories of Halloween growing up with my friends. To see my kids walking the same path is just... AWESOME!

After Lots of treat and NO tricks the kids were READY for the tricks.
It's dark now so it's time for the Tricks:

the boys are hiding. Zack has this black outfit that had a pair of glasses that glowed red!! he sat there like a statue until some unsuspecting treater came up. Matt hid behind the bush and head stones by the stairs. If Zack didn't get someone Matt did.
There were little ones who wouldn't even come up to the house! I felt horrible for them! well, not really.. it WAS all in good fun people dropped their candy and we would have to walk it over to them, the older kids were the best! some kids asked if they could help with Next years!!! OF COURSE! more the scarier!

We had tons of fun and Laughs! Next year will be even better!
I hope you all had a safe and hauntingly good time too!!!

Thank you! All about having fun! we put out most of the outside decorations on halloween in case any of the hoodlums decide they like ours better then theirs!

Hope next year we will have more. I would like to get a spooky fence to go around!

I love it! I love Halloween too, but I am bad about decorating... Probably because I work retail and I get sick of looking at the halloween decorations? LOL

All the costumes are great... Lex is adorable!

Mmmmm... I do love wine too... It's a vice of mine (and the neighbors... all of them - Usually at the same time. LOL)

Yeah, all your decorations and "tricks" are great! I don't like to be scared, so we never really go with the "darker" side of Halloween. I have friends who like to do the haunted houses, haunted prisons and haunted woods tours this time of year, but I politely bow out. DH and I don't like horror movies either. He had nightmares after watching Predator when he was 13, and the scariest movie I have ever seen is the first Scream movie! Yeah, we're wimps! But, we DO like Tower of Terror!
