I was born in a hospital. :)

Baptist Hospital in Fort Payne, Alabama. It's no longer a hospital now though-it's retirement home. My kids get a kick out of that.;)

At least you'll know your way if later in life your kids decide they don't want to deal with you when you're old and senile. :teeth:

I was born in a hospital, the day after Mother's Day, and an hour before they were going to induce labor. (I was due April 23rd and didn't get around to coming out until May 10th!)

My sister and I were both born in the hospital but my brother was born at home.

Head: Home
Shoulders: Car
Rest: Hospital Registration Desk

Mom didn't want to leave the house, Dad had to haul her to the car, kicking and screaming....she was pretty sure that since she'd had 2 already, she could handle it on her own. So she didn't even TELL my dad she was in labor until my eyes were almost showing.

Dad wanted no part of THAT.

Fun family story, and pretty much sums up the way I've lived my life, too...always on the run, half-ready...

I was born in a hospital in Oklahoma City. My husband was born in a nursing home. They lived in a really remote little town and the nearest hospital was three hours away. All the babies born around there were born at the nursing home.

In a hospital not a mile from where I still live.

Do you know where the Iowa septuplets?-the McCuley's (that's mispelled, but it is Scotch) were born? Yes, I was born there too, many moons before. I was born in Des Moines, Iowa, and I think it is a Methodist hospital.

Regards

I was born at Northside Hospital in Atlanta. It's the same hospital where Ray Sharpton works (Ray thinks he was on duty the night I was born, but fortunately I didn't have to go to the NICU where he works). :)

In an Army Hospital in Nuremburg Germany

...well Michelle, I've heard of storks leaving babies under the gooseberry bush but never an orange tree before!!! ;)

Was anyone born at home? Looks like most of us were all hospital births then! :)

Pretty sure I was born in a hospital, but for some reason my parents were always asking me if I was born in a barn or something.

Wow...some neat stories.

Me-hospital; all 3 of my kids too.

My brother was born in 1945...mom was in the hospital for 10 days, and after the first few, she was only allowed to dangle her legs on the side of the bed. Can you imagine?

My mom and dad were both delivered at home by midwives. My mom said they paid the midwife with a bottle of wine. :)

St. Joseph Hospital in Houston, Texas :)

My husband was born in the same hospital four months before me and my son was born in that same hospital 26 years after me :)

I was actually born in a hospital.:)

Though I have lived in England for 15 or so years, I was born in the lift at Christ Hospital, Jersey City, New Jersey and spent my late childhood to high school years in Pinellas County, Florida
and now I live in Bath uk, talk about a change! :smooth:
