The cast.. DH 39 AKA "Grumpy", myself 37 "over planner", DD 13, DD 11, DD 5. (Extended family and friends, our total, 20) We stayed at Old Key West, I will post on that later.

Our arrival day Sunday April 25th. We went to Downtown Disney and ate at the Earl of Sandwhich. We LOVED it. I had the Cobb salad it was to die for! My DD had the roast beef and she thought it was delicious! My husband had the "Montague" he LOVED the bread. Grade: A My other 2 DD had McDonalds.

PS @ Bomas for 5:30. We got there early and checked out the Animal Kingdom Lodge. WOW! This place was BEAUTIFUL! Went to the podium asked if we could get in early and yup.. we were seated at 5:00. This was a first for us and I have to say this will be a MUST DO" from now on. It was by far our best meal. The food was fresh, hot, and plenty of it! Our server was Jamal and he was great! My husband loved the prime rib. My favorite was the black eyed peas! And of course the Zebra Domes! Even my girls {McDonald's lover} found things they liked. Grade: A++++

Monday April 26th- PS @ Donald Duck Breakfastsaurus for 9:50. Neil was our server and we have had him for the last 3 years. He remembers us and always makes our children laugh. We had breakfast with my SIL and her family, a total of 10 of us. He always gets my SIL. This year he wanted a picture of the two of us and made us get in real close. He pulled out his "camera" and soaked us both. It was good as usual. It seems like they moved the buffet into the main entry way. I liked it better the other way. Grade: A

Since we had breakfast so late we snacked during the day and headed off to the Magic Kingdom for dinner at Pecos Bills. I used the Q&C vouchers and we all had hambergers, fries, and chocolate cream pie. Yummy as always! Service was abit on the slow side and it seemed a little dirty. Grade: B

Tuesday April 27th- Breakfast in the room and off for EMH @ MGM.
It was alittle on the soggy side that day. It was very crowded and RnR, and the GMR all had delayed openings. We were trying to stay dry and just decided to head over to Beaches and Cream for an early lunch. We had the prime rib subs and banana splits! YUMMY YUMMY! We were seated with no wait and there was 7 of us. Grade: A
We were stuffed from lunch and just snacked for dinner!

Wednesday April 28th- PS for PSB @ 8:30. This time there was 15 of us. Some of our party got lost on the way and we weren't seated until after 9. This was our favorite breakfast. This year it seemed alittle on the greasy side. The skillet didn't have enough food for our table and had to be refilled before my family could eat. The princesses that we saw were : Snow White, Belle, Jasmine, Aurora, and Pochoantas. They were very nice and Snow White gave my nephews a big KISS on their cheeks! It was cute. I was disappointed with this breakfast and don't think I'll do it again. Grade: C

After a couple of trips on Test Track, and Mission Space, we trekked around the WS. After, we had burgers at the Electric Umbrella, again a long wait and not the cleanest. We ate around 2 so it wasn't a lunch time crowd, they were just slow.

Dinner in the room.

Thursday April 29th - Breakfast in the room. EMH @ Magic Kingdom. We ate at Pecos Bills for lunch, this is my mom's favorite place. Burgers again, this time the service was quick and the place was very tidy! This is how it is supposed to be! GREAT fixins bar! Grade: A

PS @ the 1900 Park fare for 5:30 party of 17. This was a first for all of us. It was very pleasant. The charaters came by very quickly and even came by more than once. Suzy even sat with us for a while. I asked her if she liked living in the castle better than the attic. She was cute! The food was good and they had plenty of it. Prime rib and peel and eat shrimp. The strawberry soup was very good. Different but GOOD! Prince Charming sang Happy Birthday to my DD. She blushed! We will do this one again!
Grade: A+

Friday April 30th- Last day! : ( This was going to a an Epcot day but when we got there and saw the crowd we decided it was going to a Downtown Disney Day! We had lunch at Beaches and Cream. GREAT as always!

We had very good dining experiences this trip. I wish everything had gone as good. It was very crowed for this time of year. We have gone many times before and NEVER had to use Fast Passes. This year we used them for everything. I will post more about that later on the Trip Boards. Any questions?

Enjoyed your reviews!

Dh was just saying how much he enjoyed Donald's Breakfastsaurus, but because I had been reading some not so favorable reviews I was wondering if it had gone downhill since we went there a couple of years back. Hoping to return in Dec!

What characters did you see at Park Fare? Was it a crowded meal?

I notice you had a large party some of the time, and since we are planning a large gathering for Dec. I wondered if you made your PS's through the group reservations or regular channels?

For groups over 10 I had to call group dining. When I made the PS for the PSB, I was the first call of the morning. I could have gotten CRT. The characters at the Park Fare were: Cinderella, Prince Charming, Suzy and Pearla. The fairy Godmother was in the lobby. They were really attentive. They came by aleast 2 times.
Donald's was awesome as always. We have NEVER been disappointed. The buffet line has been moved to the entry way, and it seems to be less crowded. It was far from the back corner where we sat. The kids had to be careful navigating through the tables. I think we had the last seating, there was always fresh food out and they didn't run out of anything.
Hope this helps!
