We just returned from a wonderful spring break trip. Here are reviews of where we ate. Please post any questions and I will try to answer. We were in the world from 31 March - 10 April. We are a family of 3 (DH, DD age 8, and myself). We eat out frequently at home. DD enjoys foods from different cuisines. We were on the silver plan (but would have eaten at these locations regardless). I have divided reviews into breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

50s Prime Time – Lunch - Cousin Mickey was our server - he was very into the routine. The food was very mixed. The starters (Chicken Noodle Soup and Onion Straws) were very good. DD's macaroni and cheese was awful - they no longer use the "Mickey Macaroni" and the sauce was almost like melted Velveeta. DH's meatloaf was excellent. My pot roast was correctly cooked. There was too much gravy on it and the potatoes were disappointing. They crammed another family in the adjoining booth which made for somewhat tight quarters. The milkshakes were great. A toss-up meal relative to a return

Marakesh – Lunch – We had the first seating of the day. Our server was a little strange. I am not sure he completely understood English so sometimes his responses seemed harsh. We shared Beef Brewat and Chicken Bastilla as an appetizer (I could of made a meal of these). DH had the Beef Sultan sampler, I had the chicken couscous, and DD the child’s chicken. Everything was delicious. We were disappointed that they no longer offered a kid’s kebab. Both mine and DH meals were huge. DD meal was a very small chicken breast pounded to about 1/16 of an inch. Also, the server made a big deal about substituting rice for fries (which we had done the last 2 years). DD enjoyed some of the chicken and vegetables from my meal. DD loved dancing with the belly dancer. We split a Crepes Atlas for dessert. We will do lunch here if it works out.

Cinderella’s Royal Table - Lunch – This was a very nice meal in a much more relaxed setting than Breakfast. The beef barley soup was very salty. My salad was wonderful (I wish I had the dressing recipe). The pretzel bread was unexpected (and devoured by all). DH and I both had prime rib. It was cooked as requested. Service was excellent (Scott). Children’s Cheese Dog Rolls were something different that DD enjoyed. The souvenir mug from the orange smoothie has been claimed by DD. We would do this again.

Beaches and Cream – “Lunch” – During our trip last year we ate our last lunch at Beaches and Cream. It was a great way to end the vacation so we planned on it again. We arrived at 11:30 and ended up with the last non-counter table. We split a No Way Jose and a Fudge Mud Slide (no room for the excellent burgers). Both were wonderful (we didn’t completely finish these). Service was okay – We love the food and will visit again

Flame Tree – Lunch – I purchased 3 adult meal vouchers. We enjoyed the ribs and the chicken. Ice Cream treat later in the day is nice. We feel that the food was very good for a counter service meal.

Cheesecake Factory - shared a slice of chocolate cheesecake - excellent.

Roaring Fork - WL quick service - Breakfast (3 times) - Lunch (Once) - OK for a cafeteria – we enjoyed the POFQ's food court for Breakfast last year – this was not as good. During busy times traffic flow left a little to be desired.

Pecos Bills – Lunch – We each had a cheeseburger and French fries. They were very good and the toppings bar was excellent. Even thought the MK was packed we were able to find a seat.

Typhoon Tilly’s – Lunch – Both DH and DD had chicken tenders meals. The cashier insisted that they could no longer sell the tenders without fries (which we did last year) so I ordered a pretzel grill cheese from the kids menu (and shared fires with DD). The grill cheese was very good (also could not be purchased outside of the “meal”). DH and I used the refill cup and DD had a water bottle. We had purchased the “refill cup meal deal” (very much like the AK deal) so we split a soft serve ice cream cone from the stand next door.

Lottawatta Lodge – Lunch – DH had his mandatory chili dog (fork and knife required) and DD and I each had a hotdog. Unlike Typhoon Lagoon, they would sell any item from the meal ala-carte. The hotdogs were standard park food. DH and I used the refill cup and DD had a water bottle. Blizzard beach was only offering the meal deal with purchase of a new mug (are these 2 water parks run by the same company??) so there was no dessert today.

Sunshine Season Food Fair – Lunch – Epcot was very busy but DH was able to wait for a table while I waited in line. We had 2 chicken parmesans and a spaghetti meal. The salad with the spaghetti was awful (brown/wilted). The rest of the food was food court Italian. The cookie was a nice treat to share.

What in the world are children’s Cheese Dog Rolls? They sound interesting.

The pretzel Grilled cheese sounds awesome. Now I have one more place I'll have to go next week. I don't know if they'll fit me on the plane to get back home!!!

The cheese dog rolls are hard to explain.

They wer hotdogs encased in what appeared to be a cheese flavored egg roll wrapper. The were not like hotdogs in cresant rools with cheese or corn dogs with cheese (these were our guesses before hand).

Wow! That is unusual. I was guessing crescent rolls, too.

I have one question also, (if you don't mind). What is the pretzel grilled cheese? Is this a grilled cheese sandwich made with a soft pretzel replacing the bread? It sounds messy!! but delicious!!! And is it only served at Typhoon Lagoon?

The pretzel grilled cheese was a grilled cheese sandwich made with a soft pretzel for the bread. It was not at all messy. It was on the kid's menu at TL. It was the only place we saw it.
