(me, DH and 2 yo DS)

Kona (lunch)
50's PTC (lunch)
POP Food Court
Pepper Market (B, L, D, snacks)
Maya Grille (breakfast)
Marrakesh (dinner)
The American food court at Epcot
Cosmic Ray's
Rainforest Cafe (AK)

My fave meals were at Kona (I had the Hawaiian plate lunch - fried terriaki steak..OMG!!!), and Quesadilla at Pepper Market.
Least fave - hands down the nachos at POP. It was a sloppy joe mix instead of a taco meat mix and it was ICK! My hubby had some asian food, I believe, and he didn't care for it at all, either.

Any questions?

Marrakesh was WONDERFUL! I had the chicken kebobs. DH had the Night in Casablanca and he liked it. Didn't care much for the lamb, but said everything else was good! DS had the kids chicken tenders. I had asked right when we got there if we could get his order started since he is so impatient, and they had it out to us in about 5 minutes. Very good. The belly dancer was good - we had a bad seat for viewing, though. To the left as you come in, up the stairs, almost against the wall.

I forgot - we also ate at Earl of Sandwich, too. MMmmmmm...what an excellent place!

And - we ate at Sunshine Seasons in the Land Pavillion. I had the Veggie Cuban. Very good. Dh had the beef flatbread. He loved it, as well. WAY too expensive, though..

Would love some info and our impressions on the POP food court (what you had choices, etc)
Sept will be our first stay at POP.

many thanks
k

Can you tell me more about Pepper Market? We are staying at Coronado Springs this summer. TIA

Yes, can you please tell us more about PM??? Will it "suit" those who are plain as well as those who want more adventure in their dining experience/??? Is it worth taking the several bus trips to the resort(you know what I mean??? Like going from your resort by bus to the nearest park to catch a bus to the resort that the restaurant is at) for dinner even though staying on the other side of WDW????

Enjoyed reading your reviews ~ Thanx for sharing.

My impressions of POP food court - icky food. The twinkie tiramisu was really good. The nachos sucked, and the people were SOOOOO unfriendly. Everyone I encountered (who worked there) had SUCH an attitude! One of the reasons we swiched resorts after 2 nights. Always crazy busy with HUGE lines. And food WAS cold by the time you paid/found a seat. Not recommended (IMHO)...others love it.

Pepper Market - I really liked this as far as the FOOD goes. The concept - not so much. We never got to eat as a family, really. We have a 2 year old, so one of us would go get his food, bring it back, then go get thier food, bring it back, and then the other would go get their food. By the time the second one came back, the other one and our son were done eating....and when the 2 yo is done, he wants OUT of the place. So we would go wander the place until DH was done eating. I had quesadillas (one chicken--gross chicken...the fatty, tendony pieces, and another cheese). The person working the station was NOT friendly. The "sides" island...with the jalapenos, salsa and sour cream was dirty and the spoons were in the bottom of it, so whomever wanted to get some, had to dig their hands INTO the food to get it out. My DH got the Bourbon Chicken which he liked (said the pieces were gross though - tendony, etc), the pizza which he RAVED about, and the Wild Mushroom Sauce spaghetti which he didn't like. He went to get a cheeseburger/fries and the guy said that it would be 5 minutes as he was putting new fries in. So, DH waits and in the mean time, 4 other people come up, order cheeseburger/fries and the cook gets it to them immediately. 10 minutes later the cook turns to DH and says "And what can I get you, sir"? Needless to say, DH was rude to him and got something else.

The breakfasts were great here. I love the food court eggs, for some reason. The scone I had on day 1...not so good. The croissants were good.

It was more convenient to eat at PM than to traipse to a park, but I really wish the set up was better...

HTH!
