Where to watch the World Series?

I will be at WDW during the World Series and my Phillies are in. We will be there for games 6 and 7. Where is a good place to watch the games (if we get to 6 and 7)?

I've seen posts about City Works. Should I make an ADR? It is Jersey Week and I kind of suspect a lot of Phillies fans (South Jersey folks) will be in the area. I'm really not the biggest fan of Disney Springs but we could make it over.

We will be staying at CSR. Is Rix Sports bar a good option and would I need an ADR?

I would prefer ESPN but that's gone.

Rix is a great option and, yes, I would definitely get a reservation. Since you're staying there, and anything unforeseen happens (unruly fans, etc) you can at least see it in your room.

You will have to go to a lounge in a resort or Disney Springs.
I'm not aware of anywhere in the parks where you could watch the series.
We were at Belle Vue in Boardwalk last week, and they had baseball games on.

Go Phillies! Pack your Phillies swag and wear it in the parks! We did the same with Eagles superbowl week (a few years ago) and it is amazing seeing other fans across the parks and yelling and cheering together the whole week (not just gameday).

I recommend the Sports bar in your resort for ease, but yes, get reservations. It will be quieter there then the big sports bars elsewhere, but I think it will still be packed for the world series.

You can't possibly be talking about Philly! Haha!

We always wear our Phillies or eagles gear and already had it all set aside even before this. Now it’ll be even more special to wear it!

I’m a Philly fan. Unruly fans don’t phase me. :rotfl:I debated going to broad street last night but it was rainy and we all had work the next day. And the traffic. So we just partied on our front steps.

This is great to know - thanks. I'm heading down from South Jersey for our first DVC stay. I'll be staying at BWV, arriving Saturday and we'll be there through game #5. Adding WS games to a Disney trip should be a blast!

Where is a good place to watch the World Series near BLT? Do California Grill Lounge or Top of The World Lounge (Villains Lair) have TVs??? Great “problem” to have for sure! 😁

California Grill does not.
I think I saw one at the Outer Rim. In the past, I don't recall seeing one at ToTWL, but haven't been there since it reopened.

I’d be looking for where to watch the parade since Phils will win it in 5.

I made reservations at Rix for 9:30 pm both 11/4 Friday and 11/5 Saturday night in case we need them. If not we will cancel.

I know we will miss the beginning of the game but WS games tend to run longer. Plus Friday is our first park day and we have the MK dessert party scheduled. So who knows if we will even make it or if we will want to leave MK. Saturday is our PM at DHS and it closes at 9.

I figured it would be easier to be at our resort and have a short walk to our room in case the games run late. Much easier than trying to leave Disney Springs.

I was never impressed with Rix but it’s gone through so many iterations it could have improved -just never liked the setting. City Works is the best spot, now that ESPN is gone -get a reservation or try to snag a bar seat.
