We booked our first January trip and will be staying at BLT over Superbowl weekend. The easiest place for us to watch would be TOWL. Does anyone have experience with this? I don't want to have to spend all day there just to get a seat. If not are there other good places in the MK area or should we just watch in our room?

Any lounge with a TV should have the game on, including the pool bars.

Since TOTWL doesn't open till either 5 or 6 you don't have to wait all day. At the same point there are limited tables/seating areas with good views of the TV. Normally when we want to watch a night game there we get there about 1 hour before the game starts. You may also need to let the server know you want to =watch the game as it is the one place they don't automatically turn to the games. If however you are in the couch area closest to the tv (where we sit to watch games) they generally will change the tv to anything you want to watch.

This question could be a sticky thread as it comes up every year. The best place overall is your own villa and you could have everything you want to eat in your villa kitchen, including a refrigerator and blender AND a bathroom or two.

ESPN zone is by far the best place on the disney property to watch the superbowl/football Top of the world probly will be fun everytime I have gone there for football games it hasnt been crowded not sure for the superbowl. It doesnt make sense to me to sit in your room and watch tv on a vacation. if you want to leave the property and save some money take a cab to buffalo wild wings regular sundays are fun there again never went for the superbowl but I imagine they will be crowded.. this also hasnt been brought up I am a HUGE nfl fan but if I were in disney for the superbowl I would def be at the parks while everyone is watching the game esp if I had kids superbowl is great but disney with your kids with low crowds is way more fun.

Thanks for the suggestions! A lot of the decision will depend on who is playing in the game. If it is 2 teams we don't care that much about we may be in the parks and catch the end in our room or a lounge. :happytv:

ESPN is definitely the best place but you would have to get there quite early. The park thing is a great point.

I believe I've been at WDW during 4 Superbowls. The parks can be quite empty. :goodvibes Twice the conference I was attending had an event around the superbowl but I did hit the parks during part of the game. The other two times I watched in my room. During the blackout of 2 years ago it was very convenient to be able to take a nap. :rotfl:
