Where to watch the "big game"

HELP!!!!! My dh's only request for our trip was that he get to watch the Packer/Cowboy game. It will only be broadcast on the NFL network and therefore, my DH doesn't think he will be able to get it in our room at the BCV. Any idea where he can catch it? ESPN club? Will that just be crazy, insane busy? Any other bars in the EPCOT/Boardwalk area? Swan/Dolphin? Is he going to have to take a cab somewhere?

I'm not aware of any place on property that carries the NFL network. If anybody did, it would be ESPN - but I wouldn't count on it.

I'm sure that you meant games as the Packers play the Lions while the Cowboys might just get upended by the Jets.

ESPN Zone should be your best best. Might there also be places over at WWOS that you can watch the games?

Okay... it is almost like you are speaking a foreign language to me. Maybe I need to mention that I am the Disney half of our marriage, while my husband provides the football half.

I'm not really certain which teams are playing... I just know that he made this one small request in the planning of this trip and I am going to do my best to honor it!

Also... what is WWOS?

(I wonder if this is how my husband felt when we were registering for china).

Hello fello Wisconsinite and Packer fan!!

DH and I are avid Packer fans and have to watch the game whenever we vacation away from home and their playing. We go to the ESPN Club on the Boardwalk and watch the game. It's a sports bar that serves food and drink. My advice to you if you watch the game here is to arrive very early. We made the mistake one year thinking we could walk right in 30 minutes before the game started during a September game and we had to wait in a line until half time before we got in. So we always arrive at least 1 1/2 hours early to get in and find a good seat near a t.v. that is airing our game. Sit tight, order a beer (or whatever) and something to eat and enjoy the game!

PS: the other poster was mentioning the Wide World of Sports complex that is also on Disney property. I have never been there to watch a game so cannot give you info on it, but I'm sure you could find some info above in the "Dining" section.

Sorry, I can't help you. We'll be in mid-air during the game, on our way to Disney World. I guess that's a good reason to miss the game, if there is such a thing.

my boyfriend's only request was that we could watch the bruins game when we went last year. we didn't think that they'd be showing it at the espn restaurant because it was on a local network, but lo and behold they had it. i think they have tons of different channels, not just espn.

That's true, they do have tons of different channels because they are a sports bar. I think they have satellite t.v. They air many, many different games from all over! Have a great time at Disney World everyone!
