I recently discovered that housekeeping tips are often found and taken by other than housekeeping. So, from now on, I will put my tips under the pillow on the bed. That is what was suggested by my friend in housekeeping.

), or at least with a scrap of paper folded around it that says the same thing. If I'm not checking out that day, then the housekeeper might not be allowed to take it otherwise, since it's may not be clear that I didn't just leave a few dollars of my own laying around, and she (or he) wouldn't want to be accused of stealling the money I left in my room.
It's the first place I'm gonna look when I check in, I'm hoping for a collectors' edition.
