Where to take wife without the baby?

Looking for an idea on where to bring the wife on our "alone" time.....aka leaving the baby with the mother in law. What/where would you do or go?? I assume we'd get around 2-3hrs to do what we please. We will be at the All Stars Resort in case it matters.

I'd probably go for a stroll around world showcase and grab lunch or dinner at one of the great restaurants. Or eat around the world... appetizer in one country, main in another and dessert in yet another.

We could make it a quick drink around the world. LOL Maybe some churros in Mexico and Bumble Bees on the way out from the Rose & Crown.

What would both enjoy? Hitting the parks and doing some rides?

Dinner at a nice restaurant? If so think about booking somewhere you can also watch the fireworks.

Or a carriage ride a at Port Orleans (if you take one of the later ones I hear you get to see the fireworks)

Jellyrolls on the Boardwalk is a fun place if you prefer a night out. Or Raglan Road pub at Downtown Disney.

Exploring Epcot does sound like a nuce idea though!

I think Epcot is the park of choice. I like the ambiance there at night so I'll more than likely be heading there. What to do is the real question..... we are eating at Le Cellier for sure, but that's been a plan for a while. Just thinking on what else to do there. Maybe hit up Mexico for a bit of shopping, then fireworks? I dunno. LOL

In Epcot you can get a "passport" in Italy, France, or Germany for about $20 it lets you sample 2 wines at all three countries.

Do things that the kids would find boring like touring the different country pavilions. Did you know that the China pavilion features a movie which features things no other western film crew has been allowed to shoot, or that King Hassan II of Morocco actually sent out moroccan artists to build it, there is a lot of really interesting stuff to explore that kids usually aren't interested in. Also going on rides like Living with the land, which gives a lot of interesting info and takes you on a boat tour of working greenhouses.

I say take your time, and enjoy a slow evening with no one pushing you to to go on a zillion rides or making you stand in line to meet characters. Get a nice drink and find a nice romantic spot to watch the fireworks.

If you are planning on Epcot, my choice would be enjoy your dinner at Le Cellier, visit The Land and ride living with the land. Since this is food and wine time, visit a couple booths during the trip and try something new. Go to La Cava (the Tequila bar in Mexico) and try something new. . .its quiet there. . .enjoy yourselves. Visit the American Pavillion and see the show there. Awesome and very patriotic. Watch the movie in France. . .makes you want to visit the country. Most of all, just have fun. . .
