This year will be my first year driving to Disney. We are making multiple stops on the way there as we will be visiting friends along the way

I was wondering where everyone stops on the way home

I live in Toronto. We leave disney on Saturday and would like to be home Sunday. I will be the only driver. I would really like to get most of the driving done on Saturday so I can take it easy Sunday and get home at a decent time. I am thinking of 14 hours driving on Saturday.
Pittsburgh is 14 and a half hours from Disney but that is with no stops so it might be a little too far.

Please let me know what you suggest

Thanks for the help

We après actually trying to determine the same thing. Looking for suggestions.

Myrtle beach or hilton head? They are a little out of the way but worth a visit.

I don't really want out of the way as I have 2 days of driving to do and I am the only driver. I need the most direct route to toronto and somewhere to stop that's 12-13 hours from Disney

Do you mean stopping for a hotel?

There's a thread on the transportation board called "2000 mile R/T drivers". It is very helpful and a lot of people driving from your area could give you advice.
That said about 12-13 hours from WDW driving i95 would be the Virginia area.

Midway on your trip, assuming you'll be travelling I 77, would put you somewhere in West Virginia. Not a whole lot there. But both Clarksburg and Morgantown have Hilton Garden Inns. Morgantown has a larger selection of hotels and motels. Take a look at what TripAdvisor has to say about them.
