I sure could use some advice from those of you familiar with the Memphis to Orlando route. We are flying from Chicago to Orlando on March 19th. Then on March 24th we are leaving Disney and driving to a wedding in Memphis over Easter weekend. Here are my questions:
1) We will be leaving Typhoon Lagoon on Thursday the 24th around 3:00 PM.
I would like to get in about 5 to 6 hours of driving in before turning in for the evening. Any suggestions on a good stopover?????
2) If possible, we would like to avoid going through Atlanta. I had heard that there was considerable damage to some of the bridges along the coastal route. Anyone have any information on this?
3) Any overall suggestions would be most appreciated! Thanks for the time and consideration!!!
