We are looking into different resorts for our trip in June. It is just 2 adults and 2 kids and we are trying to find the best/most convient place to stay. The only experience we have had with the Disney Resorts is All Star Movies and we were very pleased. Part of me wants to go back there but the other part of me wants to see what esle is out there. If any one has some words of wisdom, or even some tips on getting a great deal, I would really appreciate it.

We are a family of four and we are staying at the WL. We picked a courtyard room with bunkbeds. Our kids are 3 1/2 and 5 so we wanted to be close to the MK. We have enjoed boat transportation in the past. We feel that it slows us down a little. We are from the Boston area so it is hard for us to slow our pace down. This wil be our first onsite visit and we are very excited. We also got a great deal withe the BDP code of $169.00 a night. With this code we saved $700.00 off rack rate. We used Marla from dreams unlimited and it has been so nice because she was the one that hunted for the code. Good luck with your choices.

DS 9 and DS 6. This will only be the second trip we have taken there with the kids. i have been there 3 times so far. I could go every year but DH will not. Wants variety, go figure. :earseek:

Hi there

Your answer totally depends on what your preferences are and how much you are willing to spend. I would start out by figuring out what you can afford to spend per night for the resort. If it's $70 - $100 then you should stay at a value resort, $100 - $200 at a moderate, $200 - 400 a deluxe. Check out MouseSavers and AllEarsNet for discounts on the resorts.

You may also want to consider purchasing an annual pass. From what I see you can get great resort discounts if one person in your party has an annual pass and the book the resort.

I personally think that people are mislead about staying near the park you are going to be attending the most. Pick the resort you like and then worry about getting to the parks for convenience. In 2003 we stayed at the Swan with our 3 year old son. Most of our time was spent at MK and it was no big deal.

Sorry I can't offer much advice but I hope this helps.

CSR or AKL would get my vote. AKL for the animals and bunkbeds. CSR for the awesome pool. The boys would love the jaguar slide. POFQ was OK. ASMO was OK. We have visited the WL and it looked like a great place to stay. We were not impressed with the POLY service and would go back to ASMO before the POLY.
