Where to stay?

Hi everyone! I am so excited I can hardly stand it!! Here is the scoop:

DH, DD (8) & I are coming home(FL) from Germany befrore DH deploys in Jan. DH will be in the states from Dec 10-28. DD & I Dec 10-Jan 6. Originally we were going to WDW from the 17thru the 23 at POP, with my Divorced but dear parents, then moving to a rental house in Orlando thru the 30th. Well, now my DDad has to leave the 26th so I don't think the rental house is worth the extra money. Here is where it gets good!!! I told Dh I thought it would be better to stay at Disney until the 26th......and he said YES!! : Not only did he say yes but he said you know I think I would like to have more space.....so we are moving on up!! I just can't decide where

We will probably won't go to the parks after the 23rd but just enjoy the parks, Right now I am considering AKL, WL or PO? Please help point me in the right direction. Do any of the Resorts do anything extra magical on Christmas eve?

We stayed at WL in July and absolutely loved it. I have also heard that it is the best decorated resort for Xmas.

I have also heard go reviews on AKL and we are planning a trip there next summer.

Hi Thanks for the info, well I had decided on WL...but there weren't any rooms at any of the discount rates available, military, FL resident or AP. SO AKL...nope not available, Can I extend my stay at POP ...nope not available. I ended up switching to AS but I am happy because it is our first Christmas with the Mouse! Nine days at WDW!

Next time DH swears we can stay at a Deluxe!

For the holidays I would say WL, the homey feel and the lobby are sooooo beautiful for that time of year.
Enjoy your husbands time home and enjoy your trip.
